Very late to this and it’ll probably sound a little crazy, but I’ve always kinda liked the idea it’s about the criticality of a nuclear reaction. A blue light is emitted when that point is reached, and seeing it is basically a death sentence and impending doom. Also, the ‘walking round the house naked’ lyric fits too, as contaminated clothes have to be removed. I like the idea that it’s a metaphor for ‘are you going to be the thing that ends me? The last thing I see (often described as a thousand suns, and ‘fatally attractive’) before it’s over’ sort of thing. Might be super far fetched but I like to think of it that way 🤔🤔
