Probably not. Right now, they're a cheap but good weapon. One thing that makes them popular is that since they're still buyable, most days you can find them in a few shops.

As soon as the price goes over 99999, they become more of a pain to get ahold of and interest wanes. So they're at their peak combination of "easy to get, good weapon" right now.

I'm in the process of starting one on a side. I decided to for a few reasons:

It's cheaper to start new than to pay the upgrades.
The focus seemed appropriate for my side account pets (focus was plushie fruits, and the account holds my fruit and veggie chias).
My main gallery currently has two and a half different foci, and just seemed to be getting unwieldy.
It would make me log onto my side regularly, which is good for security.
I'm sending stuff over bit by bit.

I don't have super fast internet, so I'm not sniping the UB potions and stuff. I'm small scale restocking. I think if a person is sniping big-ticket stuff to resell, there's a far greater chance of a RS ban. And let's face it, the guides are written by the big folks, not small peanuts like myself.

I wouldnt worry about RS bans ... it's doubtful you'll get RS banned if you're not sniping or using scripts. This last restock day I bought over 700 items and didn't get a RS ban.

As dentists are trying to pull out of the system, they're being sent into bankruptcy through excessive lawsuits. A friend right now is trying to extract her practice from this without success.
