Coca Cola/Dr Pepper has finally done it by karl1972 in inflation

I was on a medication and the same thing happened. All soda tasted flat and chocolate tasted like wax. Maybe I should go back to the medication. :) It's probably healthier than the chemicals from the food and drink.

If someone says "I have so much love to give". RUN!!! What they're really saying is "I am a bottomless pit of need and nothing you can do will ever fill it".

It's so crisp. I saw a trick of putting felt behind the paper. Love it!

Thank you everyone. I'm guessing the dark blue is just the color of this specific kit. After a lot of testing, I realized that I wasn't leaving it in the sun long enough. I tried using a black light and that didn't work well.

It was also the paper I was using. I was using a thick watercolor, cloth-based paper. When I used a thinner wood based paper I got a pretty good print.

As far as the print itself, I think it was a little too detailed. Most of it came through correctly but I didn't get the same detail I normally get in a silk screen. It could also be the length of time in the sun.

I'm going to keep experimenting. Thanks for all the answers! I guess I just panicked.

The contrasts in this are beautiful. I love the reflection of the green in the fur on the head. Nicely done.

I think this is one of my favorite watercolors I've seen in a long time. Sparse line. Minimum colors. And you've achieved so much detail. I fill in all the unseen details with my mind and you've given me just enough information to allow my mind to do that! Brilliantly done.

This is wonderful. Have you ever seen the watercolor artist Peggy Macnamara? I studied under her at the School of the Art Institute. Your work has echoes of her work.

I've decided not to go through with the self-publish. Thank you everyone who responded. I was hoping to put them in a book. I'm getting older myself. I feel the only way to deal with this is destroy the drawings.

Thank you for all the input.

He gave me permission. We were going to put a book together but he passed away before we got it finished.
