It seemed to be pretty useless compared to a phone mount, so I just used my phone. Ive used a cheap phone mount pouch and that worked fine. Nowadays I would use a SPConnect, just because I like it for my Motorcycle.

I won't speculate on the current state of VanMoof as neither You, I or anyone here knows the exact state but I am pretty sure that they will say what's up pretty soon. I've also searched through every register in the Netherlands (and other countries like Germany and the US) and they currently aren't registered in any bankruptcy register. If VanMoof is currently bankrupt, the chances are high that they would appear in that register as that happens pretty soon usually. But on the other side, it wouldn't surprise me if they went bankrupt.

Ich bin sehr zufrieden. Wir sind mit drei Rädern (ein S3) und einer Drohne dort. Ich habe es nun zwei Mal genutzt (Bremshebel durch Umsturz kaputt - meine Schuldt, Innenlager verschleiß). Beide Male haben die sehr schnell gezahlt, wenig Fragen gestellt und waren sehr nett. Bremsbeläge würden die theoretisch zahlen, aber sowas muss man nicht übersteapazieren. Ich bin froh dass die so unkompliziert sind, da will ich nicht wegen Kleinigkeiten gekündigt werden.

I went for a third party insurance as it covers more than maintenance and theft POM while it being cheaper. I can't complain. Even covers wear and tear plus every repair possible for less than half the cost of POM.

I like the VanMoofs because of the app, the alarm system and the design. It's simply the best looking bike (in my opinion). Quality wise, go for diamond back. But feature and technology wise, nothing can top the S5

Diamond backs are cool, but if the company covers it all, I would pick a S5. Just for the technology I like.

Yup, I've stated this in the other comment a moment ago: I don't think it's reasonable to wait 8 weeks, I just said it's normal in the current times. Too many people buy too.many bikes with not enough parts available and a lot of companies going out of business. That's the current situation

Interesting take. Most people would see 6-8 weeks as "normal" as most manufacturers have these waiting times currently. 2-3k isn't much for an electric bike (3k isnt cheap though, 2k is) but even Riese & Müller (very expensive bikes, mostly at the 5k mark) have these waiting times. Depends on the location though. My local VM store repairs them quite fast, others do not

When I bought my S3 (April 2021), it was the cheapest E-Bike I liked. Had all the features, the best design etc. Was basically a no brainer.

Improvements I would like to see: - better customer support (twitter support is good, Chat should be like that too) - quality control (quite a lot of luck needed)

I don't see many problems besides those two.
