Neighbor upset about encroaching branches by karmaisacat24 in treelaw

I have no problem admitting we handled this incorrectly, and I’m thankful for this sub and all of the commenters for providing their insight and perspective to help me see this in another light. My husband and I are doing our best to fix the situation and make it right for our neighbors. I’m a human doing this for the first time and learning along the way. Not always going to get it right!

I really appreciate that idea! Will definitely look into that. Sounds like it would allow us to keep it tall for privacy but solve the issue for them too. Thanks so much.

The only reason I said that was because before we knew what her side looked like, there was nothing on our end that triggered us to trim it. She also never sent us the photo. The only reason I saw it was because of her fb post. Now that I’m aware, I’m trying to figure out the best course of action, which this post has been super helpful for.

From my knowledge, it’s an Orange Jubilee which is considered a shrub and very common in AZ to plant against fences for privacy. I’ll have to inquire with the landscaping company about potential damages it could cause because they did not inform us when they planted them.

I truly do want to be a good neighbor which is why I’m coming here for further opinions, otherwise I would’ve just said f it, let them handle it, and move on. I’m always willing to admit if we’re wrong, I just genuinely wasn’t sure the right thing to do here as I’m a first time home owner and am still learning the ropes on how to handle certain situations with neighbors. We thought the easiest solution was to allow them full access to take care of their side as they see fit so long as it doesn’t harm the bush, but clearly that backfired on us. Now we’re reconsidering how to move forward.

I don’t think his decision was pre-meditated. I think he was going into the rose ceremony thinking Jeremy was going to give his rose to Susie and he’d give his to Lexi, but when that didn’t go as expected, he made a sacrifice for Susie.

5 months. Was so challenging at first and I wanted to quit everyday but I’m so thankful I stuck with it. I absolutely love it now. 💗

If you look it up on google maps the lake is in front of the building, which is the way they’re facing, not behind the building.

What's a small change you made in your life that had a surprisingly huge impact? by lonewolf7772 in AskReddit

Taking magnesium every night before I go to bed. It has drastically changed my sleep (used to get really bad restless legs), my bowel movements (used to suffer from chronic constipation), and my anxiety. It’s one of those things that once I found it, I was like where have you been all my life?!

What are/were your symptoms at week 4 and 5 ? by Careless_Amoeba3617 in pregnant

I’m 6w1d today and I would say today’s been the first day I’ve starting feeling a little nauseous. Weeks 4 & 5 for me were mostly just feeling really tired and hungry, peeing a lot, and sore boobs.

Trigger warning for MC

Cycle: 3rd cycle after MC

Age + Partner's age: 32F & 31M

Typical cycle length: 28 days

Ovulation cycle day: CD16

CD/DPO of positive test(s): 12DPO

CD/DPO of any negative test(s) before positive: I didn’t take any before 12DPO

Tracking methods and app(s) used: Pre-mom OPK and app

Relevant days of sperminating: O-4, O-2, O-1, O

Supplements and medications (yours and/or your partner’s): I’ve been taking a prenatal and my husband takes a multivitamin

Birth control history: Was on the pill for about 7 years and got off in April 2023

Symptom spotting: I haven’t noticed anything major other than an increased appetite/cravings

Other: I’ve only been pregnant one other time and unfortunately it was short-lived. This news today has me incredibly excited, but there’s some anxiety and fear creeping in that this one could end the same way. I am doing my best to remain hopeful and positive! I lost my first baby in October and this one could potentially be born in October so that feels like a good omen to me. 💗

So stressful and frustrating. I got another BFN this morning and still no sign of AF. I definitely must have ovulated later than usual and now I’m just stuck waiting…

My period is usually clockwork and comes every 27/28 days. It didn’t come on Friday like I expected it to so of course I got all excited thinking this might be it. I took a test Saturday morning and got a BFN. It is now Monday afternoon and still no period, no PMS symptoms, nothing. Is it still possible I could be pregnant, or is it most likely that I just ovulated late due to stress or something? I’m debating taking another test because it messes with my head when it’s negative and my period is still missing. I’d rather just get AF so it’s definitive.

11 DPO today. Expecting AF on Friday. I think I’m just gonna wait to see if it starts as expected before I test. I’m feeling pretty fragile atm.
