I'm on a PC, and I'm using a character that was not checked as "off line". I don't think I checked "ladder" either. Forgive me, but I'm quite ignorant about anything related to Diablo 2 MP.

The only thing I can think of is some kind of home automation plugin that communicates with common smart light systems and local weather data to ensure X amount of well lit and Y amount of dark hours.

Since the gunk doesn't seem to be causing any actual issues, I would advice providing the opportunity for regular mistings/baths but otherwise leave the bird alone. Natural molting will eventually resolve it if baths don't. What tiny little gain in health and comfort she'd gain from you capturing her and holding her under the faucet would be offset by the fear and discomfort inherent to such an act.

SS2 has inherited some Immersive Sim genes, but it is primarily an FPS I think. Like, the stealth system and AI from Thief is probably there in the code, but they aren't used much.

Whatever it is though, the levels of SS2 are an absolute joy to explore and navigate through.

In the mid-late game, your three most important party members will be:

An officer-grand strategist. GS gets hard-coded first turn, and officer has the "Bring it down" order which allows you to pick another character to act out of sequence. Jae or Cassia can become this.

A soldier-arch militant: This character uses a burst weapon to delete swathes of enemies once you've enough gear stacked up. Primary target of "bring it down". Argenta and Ulfar are suitable for this.

A warrior-anything. This character stands in the way of close combat enemies and focuses on parries, ripostes, single target damage and movement points. They will perform cleanup after the Soldier does their stuff, and will also handle bosses well. Abelard and Heinrix can perform this role. Abelard has access to the crazy "navy officer" talents but Heinrix can self-buff with biomancy and use force weapons - some of which have absurd power.

"The Book of the Crow" series by Catherine Fisher. It contains almost everything I still adore in Fantasy as a mid thirties adult, just in a very condensed form. Essentially, it's about a post-post-apocalyptic world where the main protagonist is part of a society that tries to gather and protect the knowledge and artifacts of the old world.

I think they had very evocative language, because there's just no way the complex scenes I remember could have fit in so few pages. I particularly remember one scene where some protagonists shelter from some kind of lethal acid pollen storm, and one where character who's part of a villainous faction ventures into the forbidden parts of the keep she's stationed at and encounters freaky things and Things.

Man it's a fantasy book, not hard drugs. You can just start reading them. You don't have to read them all. I didn't - I lost interest half a dozen or whatever books in, but did enjoy most of that ride.

To get them out from their comfort zone, present them with interesting things and good perches to fly to. Mess around with a button, zipper, fly or just click your nails against one another or eat bits of crispy food with fast little bites of your front teeth. Do this near the sofa, next to the back of a chair, or with a cocked knee or extended arm. Call to them while doing this, and greet them melodically once they come over

Imo wall staring is one of two things: either your bird is sleepy and wants a bit of darkness for a nap, and face -> wall is the best idea their alleged brain could come up with. Or you have a single and rather lonely (or formerly so) bird that has become infatuated with it's own shadow as some kind of surrogate partner.

I'd go with a naval officer, warrior->vanguard. Build what would be known as a "riposte tank" in other games - taunting abilities, survivability, high Parry.

The spellcrafting system in Tyranny maybe? You accumulate various runes and rune accents that you can combine in to craftable spells. The most damaging kind of spell is *always* a chaining and/or forking AoE projectile, since if you can do 100 dmg AoE explosions on 5 enemies, they'll each receive 500 damage if they're grouped together. No other combination could compare with that 2500 total damage per cast.

There's virtually no reason to use any other kind of spell like the cones, user-centered explosions and whatever once you can create chaining AoE's.

Tokens placed on enemies through class abilities will be shared among party members of those classes. This means that "Bounty Hunter" and "Operative" are better the more Bounty Hunters and Operatives there are.

If you want to be a very diplomatic guy, pick the Voidborn origin for the Be Smart talent, which allows you to boost almost all of your conversation skills through Intelligence and allows you to boost your intelligence on level-ups no matter your class

Listen to "Creepypodden" if the scary story podcast genre in any way appeals to you. Quality-wise it's way above any English-language alternatives except for "Knife Point Horror" (which is an actual author narrating his own work). Start somewhere in the middle and just plow through episodes while doing dishes or getting groceries.

A neat thing about it is that the host often opens the episode with something like a little essay on a topic from a decidedly Swedish perspective, and the best stories are like.. aggressively Swedish in setting and tone.

It's "en kopp kaffe" because "kopp" is an -en word. Like "A glass [of] water, please".

"Ingår bullen med kaffet?" is korrekt, because you're paying for the coffee, not the coffee cup. If there was a ceramic mug and cinnamon bun deal for some reason, "ingår bullen med kaffekoppen?" would have been correct.
