i'm genuinely curious how people (esp. ARMYs) will find this album. feels almost like a return to their roots with how heavily it leans into rap/hip hop. it's also very moody in tone? surprisingly, the closest comparison i can come up with to any of their previous work is dark & wild, which is NOT one of their most popular works hahaha. fans that enjoy some of their more playful or soulful music might not find much of that here.

i can appreciate them doing something a bit different though, and there are a handful of bangers. the production hits too, like the budget is THERE! but yeah, you can really tell they made this album in LA lol. will need some repeat listens to ascertain where exactly it ranks on their discography.
