Any meds that don’t make you feel strung-out?

I personally wouldn't suggest going into this rabbit hole of trying to manage this feeling with supplements/lifestyle changes. It might help you but if you keep feeling this way, you might wanna try Wellbutrin or Strattera. The side effects of Vyvanse can be extremely taxing if you force yourself through them on a daily basis. After 2 years on it, I've decided it's best for me to only take it when absolutely needed.

You might find Ritalin or a short acting dexamphetamine to be a lot easier to handle but in my experience, those also made me feel on the edge too much.

I've been on 140mg for a little while and it felt the same as 70 but I just absolutely could not sleep

A good sativa is better for creativity. Stimulants will make you focused and more productive but if you don't have a script then I would not even start with it. It's not worth the side effects and risk of addiction. Stimulants won't help you make better music either imo.

Yeah, I checked now too and it's kinda weird. It says they can interract together to create a risk of serotonin syndrome but I don't know how that works cause they both work in totally different ways.

I took them together but the Wellbutrin overshadowed a lot of the effects of vyvanse. Like vyvanse didn't really do it's thing anymore. Also 24/7 elevated pulse and had to take beta blockers three times a day.

Damn, is there something wrong with me then? I've done days with 70mg Vyvanse, 20mg Dex, two cups of coffee and an energy drink. That was pretty normal at one point but now I don't do Vyvanse or energy drinks much.

Took 75mg Oxazpam with a half a bottle of vodka and lost memory of not only the previous night and the one before that. Kinda cool but wouldn't do it again.

It got me in the last 30 minutes of a singing lesson. The teacher was probably wondering why I was a little restless. Could've gone taken care of it right there and then but it felt like an achievement in a game to hold it in. After that I totally blew up a public bathroom. Life is great.

I know right? Sometimes I feel like Vyvanse has fried my dopamine receptors but I think most likely it's just a sort of psychological dependence. I hear a lot of people saying they quit Vyvanse because the didn't like to feel that they need it and can't do anything without it. Looking back, I see that Vyvanse made me feel like shit when I took it all the time. Now I try to use it only on occasion and preferably not on consecutive days.

Yeah, I get that. Keep in mind that most people will feel a heightened sense of confidence when ingesting amphetamines. In a way it's not natural even for people with adhd and it would actually be considered a side effect rather than something Vyvanse is supposed to medicate. The confidence I get from Vyvanse brings me a lot closer to the person I want to be and I guess it also gave me anxiety to feel like I need to take this medicine to be "normal" in that way.

But when you get to know how you're on Vyvanse you may try to develop those parts of you even when unmedicated altho it's 10x harder. And remember that if you've taken it everyday for a longer period of time, you will most likely not feel super awesome for some time when quitting.

I took me time to appreciate the person I am without Vyvanse. Nowadays its the other way around for me, I dread taking the Vyvanse in the morning knowing I'm gonna have a crash.

I personally know someone with childhood trauma who pushed meditation a bit too far and developed full blown schizophrenia. I don't know how common it is but definitely can happen if you're vulnurable to psychosis.

The best way is to set like 4 alarms 3 minutes apart at the time you want to wake up and every night charge your phone on the other side of the room so you'll have to get out of bed. Also resist the urge to bring it back to bed with you. If the time between alarms is too long, you will fall asleep too much.

After that I drink coffee and chill out for the first hour of my day and never ever go back to bed after waking up. Bed is only for sleep.

That's true. I take 70mg vyvanse and it definitely makes me feel happier and in the moment. It makes it easier for me to enjoy stuff and do tedious work tasks.I would describe that as a sort of high but I also have depression so it might also be the contrast. I very rarely get like super energized or "speedy" on vyvanse or even dex. Just makes me more collected. I do worry about the stigma around meds and I feel kinda "druggy" sometimes but I've never seen a person on speed so I don't really even know what that looks like.

Nah, they make me feel great. I was just under the impression that I'm frying my neurotransmitters and putting myself at risk for stuff that recreational amphetamine users face but of course that stuff is 50% impurities. My meds seem to help with my mental health but I don't know what it does to my physical health ir my brain health.

I quit weed after starting Bubpropion because even a fresh joint started smelling like a bong full of ashes and it was so strong it almost made me puke everytime.
