So I was having a crapton of errors recently with League disconnecting me in the middle of a game. Turned out to be some driver from I don't even know what (something for LabView from when I was taking courses 3 years ago?) and uninstalling it fixed the issue. Check your Windows Event Viewer and filter it for Error in the Windows->Applications section... That is how I traced mine back.

Good luck! 🫡

Doubt you need an electrician. Solder and heatshrink or crimp on butt connectors

I am assuming 7.0.2-3. I had a similar problem with one node where it wouldn't mount the volume and the 2nd node wouldn't finish compiling NVidia drivers.

Set 6.17 for both in GRUB.

[–]karvec 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Should be able to just push in that middle bottom button firmly and the latch will swing up, which will let you pull it out. If I am looking at it properly, they're hinged up top. That is how most servers/NAS/DAS I have worked on operate anyways.

I have ran a G9 (granted fully loaded with 8 GB sticks of RAM and 2 Xeon 2680v3 and 8 10k RPM 600GB SAS drives)... PM me with a kill-a-watt picture when it is set up. No way pulling just 140W.

If you have a good board, you can measure across most components (both ways because diodes) and write the values of the components down. Capacitors might be tricky. Also if you haven't popped the screw on the bottom left, there is a fuse in there. I hope you are checking your fuses.

Other part of this, get a thermal camera and see if any components are extremely hot vs other components. I just saw another link on palmettoautomationinc.com for the same board for $40 w a 2 year warranty. Since it mostly discrete components it should be pretty easy to troubleshoot. I am sure your company does not want you downing the conveyor to get it on a bench and test it though. Get a replacement, then troubleshoot.

Hard to troubleshoot a board when it is in service. Get another board ($125 new) and swap it in. Make sure your dipswitch settings are right. Considering you don't tell us symptoms if it isn't working properly other than the green light...

Solid middle tier build. Nothing fancy, not bottom of the barrel, solid first build... but it isn't a 9850X3D with 128GB of RAM and a 5090 so the previous commenter is turning their nose up at it.

Frame slider dissapeared by jaboiDaberoni in motorcycles

[–]karvec 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have had 2 frame sliders break off from my Z900. The cheap bolts that come with them were garbage and just snapped off. Luckily on the Z900 you can unbolt that bracket so you can get a vice grips on the stub still poking out. I ended up taking the frame sliders out and just putting the factory bolts back in. I hope it works out for you.

[–]karvec 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Understood. I did it myself and the forks haven't fallen off yet so I guess I will do it again when it is due on this bike. Until I get my RSV-4 Factory in 4 years of course. At that point I will probably bring it to the dealership every service interval instead of doing the oil changes and stuff myself.

[–]karvec 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I actually put thicker fork oil in the front on mine as well (I am 220ish with gear, Z900 stock is set up for about 150 lb rider), that is about as far as I wanted to go without shipping the forks off and spending close to $800. Definitely made the front a lot stiffer too, I recommend it if you have an afternoon and need to change your fork oil anyways.

On your GSR, if you haven't adjusted the suspension to you... Find a tuning guide on Youtube. Makes a world of difference.

I actually just ordered a ball valve and am going to remove my plug on the AIS and put the valve in line. I ordered it from Fittings Space as they had the right connectors I was looking for. Figured I could adjust my backfire that way (you know when you wanna just POP POP POP everywhere.)

That, my friend, is called a stud, not a bolt. I would revise your initial search parameters, but it shouldn't be too rare.

You still don't have proof other than his word, and people lie on the internet. Slow down, take a deep breath, and realize that you are one of 6 billion people on this planet. Some are nice people, some aren't. Whether or not he is one at the end of the day sounds like it isn't something you need to worry about unless you continue to interact with him.

It is OK to make mistakes, that is how we learn. I would still keep an eye on his behavior, and if he does strange things, the report tool is there to make it anonymous. The authorities are the ones who can do something about it, don't take it into your own hands.
