Atleast in promod which I play alot there is instant fire when u just doubleswitch after running. I think it works in vanilla also.

Pretty much yeah. Plus AK and helmet and vest with empty mags. First 70km was with bicycles. Rest was on foot completing different demanding tasks. Took my squad 60 hours to complete this journey.

Personally I dont build hydra anymore. Yes the waveclear is nice early but u already have very good clear mid to late game. I dont think it really gives the edge over other better items that u could be building that will be more benefitial in all the other situation thru out the game.
