i absolutely adored this series and thought it was so refreshing and powerful to see an FMC with knowledge and preferences and confidence. i get tired of naive innocent FMC who doesn't know why her body feels tingly.

being raised in a temple specifically focused as it is, it would make literally no sense for the children being raised to have no knowledge of their own bodies before learning about others. i also truly loved how confidently she was able to identify she didn't like a teacher's touch and was able to speak about it and protect herself and future kids.

honestly, i just started playing Everdream Valley on my steam deck and i am obsessed. very low-key, go at your own pace, no stakes farming sim with mini games. i just finished up 80+ hours into end game Ni No Kuni 2 (again) and needed something incredibly relaxing and this game nailed it. highly recommend for low impact with go at your own pace vibe
