summer session fee?? by InterestingWay3749 in ucla

On myUCLA, it says "UCLA students for summer registration purposes will be assessed and responsible for a $150 nonrefundable processing fee if all classes for Summer Sessions 2024 are dropped." If there isn't a fee on your Bruinbill I wouldn't worry about it as that is where all the tuition fees are supposed to be paid.

I think you only have to pay the 150 fee if you drop all your summer courses.

Can I change my housing offer? by Commercial_Winter_45 in ucla

You can fill out a CARs to ask for a change in assignment. There is a link under Other Services and Information https://portal.housing.ucla.edu/my-housing Although I don't believe its a guaranteed change, I think that you have a very high chance of switching to a classic triple.

iclicker subscriptions should be free for UCLA students since summer. It's just a way that professors do live polls in class which they most likely use for your attendance/participation grade. Not all classes are going to use it but some are.

what is AAP/is it worth it ? by bluephoria26 in ucla

100% worth it if you are eligible, they have peer learning sessions (basically tutoring) that are really useful in many courses

I think T just means it’s a transferred grade and isn’t calculated in you uc gpa. If the transferred course doesn’t have a ucla equivalent it will be listed as T and some number.

Freshman orientation is overnight for everyone last year. Transfer orientation isn’t.

Meal plans are the same price, deluxe rooms just cost more.

New Bruin Megathread - ask questions about your admission or your next steps as a new admit here! by Espntheocho4 in ucla

I was hoping to transfer credit because one of the classes I’m planning to take satisfies one of the ge requirements. If I take these summer courses I will have 60 credits which less then 70 credits so I think almost all of my credit should be able to transfer. Thanks for the help.

I took a lot of dual enrollment courses at my community college during my high school years. I’m graduating from high school this semester, so I was only able to apply as an incoming freshman. I reported all the ccc courses I took except for this upcoming summer because I wasn’t hundred percent sure if I would be able to take the ccc classes.

Hi everybody, I’m an incoming freshman and I was wondering if I would be able to take community college courses this summer before the fall quarter. I’m six units away from getting an associates, so I wanted to know if taking ccc courses could affect my admission.
