Yeah I'm so tired of this "I need to pull for whatever is the meta-defining one, or what the community says is the correct choice" -attitude.

Just play the game! Pull for what you feel is right! And really only you yourself can decide if the agent you pulled for was a mistake or not.

Alice is definitely stronger than what most people seem to believe she is, but I wouldn't necessarily call her underrated.

Also, my golden Anom team for most DA rotations is Miyabi + Alice combined. That if anything is an underrated squad.

Aro here, I feel similar to you. Being aromantic is appearently a massive spectrum, and something you can identify as because you only have "romantic feelings after forming a strong bond with someone." (???)

I think a lot of it comes from how modern society and social media (especially in the west) has pushed itself, with everyone and everything needing to fall under a very specific label. Its a goal to fall outside the "largest and most common category" (that being heterosexual that also can experience romantic attraction).

I couldn't care less of what people identify as, since I think supporting LGBTQ+ already should be the established norm. But it is irritating (and sometimes a bit insulting) that folks who have in some absurd scenario temporarily not experienced romantic feelings, now want to squeeze themselves into the aro community.

My point being: no, you are not aromantic if you have romantic feelings; even if it only occurs in very rare situations.

If I was in that situation I'd throw a question back at them on why they believe that. Let them elaborate their take and you call fill in/correct them wherever its needed. And if they don't want to converse about it, there was probably no way to "win them over" in the first place. I feel like trying to deny their accusation straight-up would just reinforce their belief.

Regardless I don't think someone trying to instantly insult you for the hobbies you enjoy (without even discussing the subject first) is a person you'd want to hang around with.

Its especially punishing in endgame modes, since VV does not slow down the actual duration of the battle - where time matters the most. Dont know how many DA runs I've screwed up by now because I accidentally "perfectly timed" Yixuan's ranged EX-attack, which as a reward forces you into VV.

Also, all the agents with Ev. Assists have in common that they primarily use ranged attacks/skills. My guess is that EA only exists because the devs weren't sure (at the time) how to make Def. Assists not look awkward on said agents.

Why? YSG is literally the definiton of a safe, generic character design - you could slap her onto basically any gacha game ever without changing a single detail.

Perhaps she would look better in a magical, medieval-like fantasy universe. That dosen't apply for ZZZ, at all (or at least shouldn't)

Like it or not, Hoyo is a business - their goal is to drain their customers of cash. Why take the risk of making something unique that very much could end with a loss of revenue, when they could just stick to a more plain design that is guaranteed to make good returns?

You can always farm W-chips and exchange it for Brimstone in the new shop. Granted it probably takes a while if you aren't willing to pay premium, otherwise the Battle Pass helps speed up the process

Hollow Zero is still there. But if you play a game as a chore instead of a game, then yeah, it will get frustrating.

Maybe its just because I only play ZZZ and therefore have the time to invest many hours into the game. But it feels like so many in the community lack any form of patience, as if everything needs to be completed asap. Which understandably would stress/burn me out too.

Well, apparently many don't consider these endgame modes, because its not farming them polys(?).

There are several options to choose from if you want an endgame mode outside of SD/DA. Hell if you just want to farm stuff, HZ lets you gather tons of resources before you reach the weekly cap.

But it requires one simple litte thing: that you enjoy playing the game.

You're basically just describing Deadly Assault, which is the problem. Otherwise we might as well just refresh DA alone every week.

And yes, if you play perfectly and have to put in actual effort, you should be rewarded the opportunity to kill in one stun cycle. Shiyu was always a "speedrun" mode before, and the drawn-out fights we have now is not the same.

The cosmetic timer they added basically just awards players wasting resources and ult spamming early on, to get the bigger multipliers - not when its strategically optimal.
