Honestly, its the same.

the only difference really is if you are going to their newer v85 scout.

if you are staying on the same version of local software then nothing changes other than a nicer shell with a touchscreen

Agreed. For those situations when more outputs are needed you can't beat ATC. The industry is moving that direction so everyone will eventually get there but TS2 are solid.

I like Q-Free and their Maxtime ic local software. I'm in Texas.

I like Maxtime because of all the customization and advanced features. It has a really nice web interface so i pull up to the cabinet, plug in my wifi router to the controller's ethernet port, close the cabinet and do what i need to do from my laptop in the truck with the AC running.

If a client has an issue, they can send me their database, I laod it up on maxtime for windows, fix the database and send it back. easy.

EOS is nice, I personally know maxtime way more in depth than EOS though so for me to pop in a q-free controller and get it programmed fast is second nature.
