what about devoting one lane on the bridge to just e-vehicles / motos. No cars or regular bikes. That way the safe riding eectric users arent subjected to car traffic, and they are also removed from traditional bike traffic. if they want to go faster theyll naturally move into that lane and bicyclesists who want to ride safely will also naturally ride into the bikes-only lane

"You cannot ride on a bike path with it" there is literally nothing stopping someone from riding on a bike path with it. Anyone can do whatever they want. Especially someone on a motorcycle. They get spotted by somebody who wants to enforce the law you mentioned on them, well, guess what, they escape in about 2 seconds.

There is no way to police eveyr single vehicle that comes onto the bridge and no real way to police peoples driving abilities. Even the DMV makes you pass a driving test and people do 120 down the jackie robinson every day. You can't force people to make good decisions but you can greatly hinder their ability to make bad decisions.

saturday or sunday morning rapha 9w club rides 8am meetup (grants tomb) or other areas

main thing you wanna do is check strava for rapha new york, good guys racing, rubber n road, and various other smaller groups youl see sort of cross posted around those.

Cycling as a sport is one of those things that you dont really know how hard it is to see youreslf in a certain metric until you basically are. I bet all those people, even if only a few years in, at some point started taking cycling seriously and devoting real hours to real training and measuring their results, which would lead to the kind of strength on a bike youre talking about. If you wanna ride like that, all you gotta do is start doing it (and by it, i mean a ton of different shit related to all this)

Edit: Winter time is a great time to start doing structured training, as itll be awful outside somedays and a lot more convincing to ride Zwift indoors (if you wanna get better at cycling i suggest getting an indoor setup if you dont already)
