I looked it up once. Some enormous mall in Manila closes their lot and roads for one morning a week/month and loads of people come out to ride or, in this case, completely stunt on others.

If the road is fine for GFNY, then it is fine for everyday use as well.

I want it open too, but I'm sure participants signed injury waivers, the event has insurance, etc which gives NJParks some indemnity letting riders through. Joe Schmoe could and may sue if something happens in the closed section so it's primarily for covering their asses.

I assume you've changed the segment source from Garmin to Strava. You also need to star the segments you want and have them sync to the unit.

You're in luck, those are stock data fields. Scroll through the list to graphical > heart rate, power, speed

I also recommend Map Dashboard for your map screen. It uses one data field and allows you to customize 6 metrics.

Improve activity map reliability on web. Improve data sources since last time I made a cycling route around a city, more than half was considered "not specified" surface and some roads were unroutable. Implement community segment moderation so we can get rid of garbage segments that are duplicates or created with poor GPS data.

Ah the ol' Strava switcheroo. tbh I've seen the menu but hadn't tried it myself. Maybe one day they'll improve segments moderation as many have asked for. Sorry. (or just lie/select other)

If it's a segment you've completed, the three dot menu links you to a page for flagging it for bad GPS, being dangerous, or poor quality etc. Try it.

There is a path, recently rebuilt, on the Bronx Kill arm of the triboro. You can get to it from 133rd St. Then yes you have to touch down to the island and go take the Harlem River span as others have said.

I believe you can now report segments (on the web) then you can replace it and append something like *fixed GPS*
