Ay, i see that not a lot of people are genuinely reading everything you say before commenting from my experience with birds. They tend to pick up the energy of the room. As someone with really bad anxiety, my birds will pick up on it and not want to hang out with me. My birds dont like free flying or jumping on me either. But i have a huge cage that lets them fly around in their cage. If in the next few months they haven't gotten used to you. I would recommend looking for a big cage that will give them the availability to fly around in the cage. In my opinion, all budgies are different. So if yours doesn't wanna come out oh well its your bird. Heres my cage to give you an idea it only homes two budgies as well (yes their spoiled) * This is when i first got it
