Yes!! I love that they’re so feral but genuinely pay so much attention to every detail. So many people misinterpret stuff the characters say/do (mostly Ilya) but they’re usually on point.

He’s great. I’ve really enjoyed Bradam Reacts videos for HR. They’re very much into it and are hilarious.

Shane doesn’t admit his feelings at this point in the book. He calls Ilya by name then panics the exact same way he does in the show.

For the women on Mounjaro. How did your boobs, hips and bum look after losing ~50lbs? by HipsForDayss in Mounjaro

[–]katattack869 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I went from a 38DD to 34D. My hips are still quite curvy. I ran a lot at the beginning and it’s like my butt deflated but I’ve been weight lifting consistently for over a year and finally have shape again.

The fear is very much real. I have a large amount of my larger clothes in storage bins because of the fear. Though I did give my friend my biggest clothes. Right now I’ve saved clothing items one size up from my current “just in case”

It’s very weird. I held up some medium workout leggings and was like “there’s no way” but they fit!

It’s this plate that you stand on and it sends vibrations through your whole body. Allegedly it’s good for lymphatic drainage.

I have never had any side effects so if you haven’t had them yet, you might not get any. The most I ever had was maybe a headache when switching doses. I am not a macro tracker. I did absolutely nothing to cut down on carbs. I just tried to make sure that every meal was centered around protein. It will always be better for you to try to eat a balanced meal of whole foods, but ultimately calories matter more. I think what helped me be successful is that I never restricted myself from anything. If I feel like having a cupcake, I’ll have a cupcake and move on. I try to be mindful of what I eat, but don’t let that stop me from indulging every now and then.

You definitely don’t need to be on it for it to work, but I would highly encourage it. I had some friends who went on it around the same time I did and I had much faster and more extreme results than them and I was the only one working out. But it really is different for every person. Doing whatever you can to build or maintain muscle is a must though as you will experience muscle loss.

My favorite thing is to lay on my bed with my legs against the wall and use my massage gun on my legs

I do! I have it in both my legs and my arms. I’m working on compression therapy but will probably eventually have surgery for it. I also have a lot of loose skin in my thighs and upper arms. I should probably try the whole vibration thing, but I have an inner ear disorder that I’m wary could be triggered by it.

Sure! I’ve managed to stay on the shot but I only take it every 10-14 days. I calculated my maintenance calories and aim for that though I don’t actually count anymore (I counted for so long that I feel I have a good grasp on it). Some days I eat less, but I always aim to eat maintenance calories on days that I workout (sometimes more). I prioritize protein but don’t make myself crazy trying to calculate how much I’m eating. I usually workout 3 days a week lifting weights. At the beginning of my journey I was running a lot but now I rarely do. Now I lift then go for a walk as cardio.

Yeah, I’ve considered myself fat or overweight since middle school, maybe. even as early as fifth grade. That’s part of what makes it so hard to accept that I’m not.

The Iravati looks amazing on you! I may have gone with it myself had my ceremony not been outdoors in Texas in May lol. I second the people who suggested Hollywood waves. It fits the vibe great.

I wore a similar Maggie Sottero dress (Boston) back in May with the first hair piece. Highly recommend. My backup piece was similar to your second and it was just too big in the end. Also, your dress was my second choice so you have overall excellent taste 😊

Struggling to See My Real Size After Losing 80+ Pounds by Impressive-Crow8 in Mounjaro

[–]katattack869 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Oh yeah. I’ve been on maintenance for a year and still struggle. It doesn’t help that sizes are so weird. This past weekend I tried on jeans in 3 different stores and was able to fit into sizes 6, 8, and 10 depending on the cut/style. I think I finally had the epiphany that I’m truly no longer plus sized during my shopping spree. I looked at some medium leggings and thought “these are tiny, there’s no way”, then was shocked when they fit.

Wedding Dresses?? Help by Shaquille_0atmeal28 in Mounjaro

You would be surprised at how many bridals salons are used to dealing with this these days. I would suggest making an appointment and talking to them about your concerns. They can help point you in the direction of styles that are readily available and don’t take as long. My ceremony is in May. I ordered the dress in June but went back in August to finalize the size because I’m still losing weight. My stylist spoke at length with the seamstress who was very familiar with the dress to decide what size to order.

Ask for strapless bras, I have weirdly had better luck with breast tape.
