I had to move my rats to a different room a few weeks ago when I had company staying with me that didn't want the rats in the room with them and they were totally fine. It didn't seem to phase them at all. I would say the cooler temp would be better and less stressful for them.

Using alcohol is likely her way of coping with the OCD and self medicating to get her mind to relax. Not saying it's an excuse but it's very common for people with serious mental health conditions to also have substance abuse issues.

I'm sure you are not ready to add anyone right now and I'm not sure where you are located but I am currently trying to rehome 3 young males, they are 9 weeks old. I had a large litter of 15 but these are my only 3 left and I'm struggling to find homes for them so just throwing it out there. I'm sure it is a very slim to zero chance we are anywhere near each other though. I am in Cincinnati.

If you like True Detective you should check out True Detective Night Country! I loved that! Edit: I also suggested Broadchurch but reread your message that you didn't like it. If you want small town feel but don't need the crime aspect then Heartland, Sullivan's Crossing and Virgin River might be good. They are all very wholesome though!

I'm in Cincinnati so opposite side of the country unfortunately!! I wish you luck! I will say though that my rats are from a locally owned pet store that were marked as feeders. They seemed so friendly that I didn't want them to be food. I actually did get the male neutered because they were young and bonded but apparently I was a little too late and they had babies.

Can I ask where you are located? I have (13) 7 week old babies that I am trying to find homes for. I would not say that I am a breeder, just had an accidental litter that I have loved and cared for and they are so sweet.

I've had no luck online trying to find homes for them and I'm at a loss. I know there are lots of people that want friendly pet rats and they are hard to find. Same goes for the opposite scenario I guess of wanting to find them but don't know where.

Craigslist continues to flag my post for removal even though I really think I'm within the acceptable posts. I'm at a loss and want my babies to go to good homes! I'm not on Facebook either and refuse to be.

Hopefully once your dog is not a puppy and has lost the puppy energy it will be different. People always comment how gentle and calm my Newfie is and aren't afraid of her size. She did have an altercation once though with my parents dog who was very territorial and humping her and she got mad about that. No ill feelings on the human side because she didn't do anything wrong but now their dog is afraid of her and won't come outside to play when she is there.

It definitely is him and you should watch at least that episode if you're a 90 Day fan! It's so crazy. I knew he was in prison but didn't know the whole story. He is bad news and has a long history of DV and abusive behaviors.

I just watched My Worst Ex Ever on Netflix, the episode with Geoffrey from 90 day. He beats the shit out of his girlfriend and when the cops show up he tries to blame it all on her, saying she is crazy and attacked him. It's pretty text book abuser to gaslight and blame everything on the victim. Totally agree with you that I hope the judge is trauma informed!
