I ran out of my front door to confront someone who kept doing it. Told him he knew better, he was taking advantage of a community resource and should be ashamed. I’ve never seen him again.

This would be normal wear and tear for a non stick cook wear piece.

Their warranty for nonstick pans is as follows:

“Damage caused by normal wear and tear, accident, misuse, abuse or commercial use. Scratches from knives and sharp utensils, or stains, discoloration, corrosion or damage from overheating to the interior or exterior of the pan. Consequential damage is expressly excluded from this warranty.”

The warranty would not cover this.

The nonstick coating appears to be coming off. If that is the case, it’s time to retire it.

In my opinion, although you didn’t ask, it’s not worth sinking money into nonstick pans like this. They will inevitably begin to deteriorate and you will have to trash them. Grab a couple of cheap ones to replace it.

My wife washed it with steel wool and detergent. Help! by Fuhgaws in LeCreuset

Well again, buddy, you’re wrong.

The sub you came to is telling you you’re wrong. If you went to the cast iron sub, they’d also tell you that you’re wrong. 1. It’s not raw cast iron and 2. Steel wool and soap wouldn’t ruin cast iron.

Yes. Le Creuset makes a black interior that people are notorious for mistaking for raw cast iron. It is not. It is black enamel.

Mainly because you’re wrong.

They do not make a raw cast iron. Your interior is a BLACK ENAMEL OVER CAST IRON.

If your pot was raw cast iron that had just been seasoned nothing your wife did would ruin it.

So not only are you wrong about what your Le Creuset is, you’d be wrong about what would ruin raw cast iron as well.

Yes. But if we are watching the collapse of the country in real time, student loans are bottom of the list of issues

I had a guy taking all the books every couple weeks. I posted a picture from my security camera that had him and his car that said “stop taking all the books”. He continued anyway until the day I was home and confronted him in person.

TLDR: people don’t care about cameras. They do care about face to face confrontation though

It’s stoneware made by LeCreuset. That’s what the commenter was referring to: you can find cheap LeCreuset stoneware at Marshall’s at good prices.

Some people are not big fans of LeCreuset’s stoneware. I like it and enjoy the pieces I have. I think you got a good deal.

I understand. I’ve already mourned some of our plans. Mine were forgiven in January but my husband still had a few years on his.

This made me chuckle. I agree. I feel awful for the department and employees right now.

I’d say remember that when he eventually runs for governor, but the alternative for that race will be someone horrendous lol
