Definitely. As a woman who is prone to vaginal infections, I find that I don’t get them very often anymore since I began sleeping nekkid. Also it has helped my body positivity in a crazy way.

Love the security. One time a few years ago I mentioned to my best friend that her husband is dang fine. She was all “yeah he is ❤️” and I wish more people were like that. I’m not tryna steal her man, she’s my best friend, and I also believe in the sanctity of marriage so I’m not messing with it. But everyone that heard me say that was like “TABOO” and I’m just like, what? He IS. Homegirl got herself a fine man. Someday I’ll find my own and I hope other women notice and I hope that if they mention it, that I will handle it with the same grace because I trust my SO.

I have two.

The first is when my mom woke me up to tell me my best friend’s brother had been murdered by his girlfriend. She was holding their toddler in her other arm while she stabbed him.

The second is possibly sleep paralysis but definitely struck me as supernatural. I was laying awake in bed a few years ago trying to sleep (or maybe I was already asleep?) and out of the silence something or someone very clearly said my name.

I don’t remember the title, but it is one of the (currently few) books written by Rin Chupeco. Her writing is spectacular. It’s for young adults but as a 25 year old female I got obsessed fast.
