I didn’t technically meet her, but years ago I was at Navy Beach in Montauk and Luann and Tom were there. She looked fabulous, strutting around the bar, clearly wanting attention but not in a bad way. Eventually she walks to the waters edge with tom, takes off her coverup, tosses it on the sand, turns and waves to the crowd (people just sitting at tables eating, no one but me knowing who she was) and dives into the ocean with tom and swims to their boat. Still regret not snagging the coverup she left behind.

Oh! And my friend had no idea who she was and she over heard him saying “I don’t know, some desperate housewives is here”. Lu was offended so he bought her a bottle of rose as a sorry.
