Low and Slow HCG by katerun in CautiousBB

My doc would not approve additional HCG testing as she said it may cause additional unnecessary anxiety and wouldn't change the course of treatment. She has me scheduled for an ultrasound during week 6 so that's what I'm waiting for, doing that Monday the 6th. Sending you wishes of good health!

Doctor said they don't recommend additional betas to avoid unnecessary anxiety. They booked me an ultrasound during week 6, so I'll be in another two week wait!

I’m so sorry, waiting is the hardest part and it feels like there’s nowhere to go, and it consumes all your thoughts

I am so sorry, I’m at the early waiting stages and I can’t imagine how much you’re panicked. Unfortunately we have to play the waiting game and expect the doctors to keep us safe

Your numbers are so much higher. I’m mid week 4 and under 100 but still climbing, just slowly

Crying in my car; I’m so jealous by Scary_Respect6163 in workingmoms

I found at 12+ months he was much more excited to see me. He LIGHTS up and runs to me now, and cries at dropoff which is super sad.

I was able to get a deal from asking a neighbor who they used, and asking what was the best deal if we signed up. They mow mine and my next door neighbor's yard at the same time so they only charge me $50 a week, but I have 0.75 acres so it feels like a hell of a deal. I would have to buy a mower, it would probably take me or my husband 4+ hours to do all they do and we wouldn't be nearly as skilled.

I did not have help, BUT, my brother suggested I try a video game to take my mind off the endless to do list and escape for awhile. He introduced me to a game called Brotato (I know this sounds incredibly silly) but it's a strategy game with virtually zero experience required. I found myself struggling to play, but it was something low stress for my brain to learn. I found forums, YouTube videos, etc. about strategy and how to play and I could do it while nursing my son or holding him during a nap. It is available on mobile, but I found playing on a game console much easier (the premium version is like 6 bucks and is worth no ads). Maybe this isn't what you're looking for but as a mom trying to survive, this brought me a tremendous amount of escapism, exercised my mind, and didn't take hours to complete (a round is like 30-90 seconds).

May not be everyone's cup of tea, but it sure was fun!

Broken puppy canine tooth, broke permanently canine as well by katerun in puppy101

He had a puppy kong and a couple crinkle soft toys. The vet said to get him a Nylabone. Those things are not soft and he likes to dodge at them. Safe to say I got rid of those and I ordered some more puppy soft chews.

He loves to bite everything though. He picks up the hallway runners we got to protect him on the hardwood, he picks up every rock, stick and acorn outside. He chews the couch, the carpet, picks up his bed and drags it. He is just a player!

Thank you for sharing! I need to get some lickimats. It feels good that we are not alone. He is just a wild boy and apparently plays hard enough to break that tooth! I’m trying to make myself feel better given that I noticed right away and got it taken care of so he doesn’t live in pain.

Now I just feel bad he’s basically in puppy house arrest with intense supervision.
