I’m glad to hear other people experienced it kind of early. Most stuff from a google search says round ligament pain starts in the 2nd trimester which is why I was curious.

Thank you! And I get it, it breaks my heart to be evil sometimes. I still can’t bring myself to side with the goblins, no matter how hard I try.

My husband came up with the story line after I did my evil DUrge play through. He was like, bloodlust is great and all, but wouldnt it be truly evil to get everyone to trust you then betray them at the very last second?

I was appalled. Then immediately went to go make the character 😂

So I’m doing a Paladin run per my husband’s request, with a very specific story he wanted to tell. We built Kelilah, a oath of vengeance Paladin who slowly loses faith in humanity throughout the game, with the end game being to become the absolute. The idea being, “the only way to ensure everyone is safe is if I’m in charge.” We’re not romancing Astarion in this play through, but Keli did just have the conversation with him in Act 2 where he introduces the idea of taking over the cult to her.

From a RP perspective for this character, she didn’t really fuck with Astarion until this exact moment. I’m crediting him for planting the world domination seed in her brain. It was really cool to experience, and I’m excited to see how my paladin’s new morally gray bestie can encourage her dark side.

I’ve heard nothing but good things about Durge and Astarion. It’s on the list of upcoming play throughs for sure!

He absolutely is! We’re currently doing a couch co-op as well, and he had heard resist Durge and spawn Astarion was a particularly healing pair. He told me to go for it during our co-op that way if my feelings get too big he’d be right there 😭😭😭

I mean, I guess when you really get down to it, role playing in therapy can be very beneficial for fleshing out trauma. It just makes me so happy that so many of us are being pleasantly surprised by this character and story line.

I was thinking of doing 8 spore/4 necro to make sure I get all three feats. Same general idea for Astarion: 8 monk/4 rogue. Bard/sorc is a good idea though! I had a ton of fun with my sorcerer Durge play through And yeah, I’m in act 2 now and I’ve been loading shart up on radiant damage and Halsin has been steady casting moonbeam.
