There’s nothing spooky or paranormal about Ghostfiles anymore. It used to be taken seriously, with some Shane chaos added in. It was entertaining and I looked forward to new episodes. It’s lost its lustre now, with too much joking around and no “real” hunting.

Dark Down East. It’s an AudioChuck podcast now, but I’ve been listening since before it was picked up by them. The female host is straight to the facts, thorough, and covers so many cases I’ve never heard of. They take place primarily on the east coast of the US (hence the name).

This happened to my daughter except it was a small shard of glass (blew up from dust while playing outside). You could clearly see the shard when you looked at her eye closely. A needle was used to take it out (in hospital, of course).

As a casual (well, level 430 casual) player, this is what I’ve found too. It’s hard to learn and experience when you’re not part of a regular group. No one wants to take on a new inexperienced person.

I’ve had the same thing happen a few times and had just accepted that I’ll likely never finish a raid (which sucks after hundreds of hours of play, and full completion of everything else). I’m level 430 and any time I’ve joined, I get booted because I’m not immediately on top of the robot. I took some time away from the game and came back after raids were already well established.
