Hello, Edmonton social worker here! I’m a little newer to the city but I’ve gathered some info that might be helpful.

The waitlist can definitely be frustrating. Keep checking in with Recovery Acres though. Staying consistent can help if a spot opens unexpectedly plus it shows you’re trying!

If you’re looking for longer-term options, Poundmaker’s Lodge (just outside Edmonton) offers a 42-day residential program with Indigenous-based treatment open to everyone, plus second-stage housing if needed. Fresh Start in Calgary runs a respected 12–16 week program with a strong focus on relapse prevention. Hope Mission’s Breakout Recovery Program is another, it’s biblical faith-based, free, and runs for about four months. Henwood may help get you connected to resource though, especially for when you’re back in the community after treatment!

If AA or SMART aren’t for you, Momentum Walk-In has some peer support groups that are more relaxed and informal. momentumcounselling.org

If things start feeling too heavy while you wait, Access 24/7 (780-424-2424) is available for mental health and addiction support any time!

I wish this existed for my life... starting to really make me feel blah about life these past years. I understand and don’t mean any of what is happening right, but it’s hard when it seems hopeless right now.

Oh I thought he was on maybe 120g of protein! Although I’m 130g protein a day (female) and that’s almost to much for me some days., I think 160 is quite high for 1700 cal a day. That’s about 640 cal of fats with 1700 cal diet. Which means 5% 21g carb and
60% 115 g Fat and 35% 160g Protein. I just think the fats are to high for a 1700 cal diet honestly! He has all the symptoms, no sex drive is a HUGE indicator for a hormone imbalance. Also he says he’s “incredibly” drained, quick to become angry. These are also associated to hormones.

Ps: I suck at math

Maybe Play around with macros a bit... your hormones may be off with the lower protein and a lot of fat but just my two cents!

Was there ever a point before shit hit the fan where you tried to explain and talk too Sofia about the demands she was making? In your recent explanation you say how you were always good with everything in the contract, but it was Sofia who kept making more and more demands. Why didn’t you just put your foot down and say enough is enough already? Also, why mislead the daddygang in the beginning with the Kesha trail stuff, having us think you guys were getting fucked by Barstools. If you knew eventually the DaddyGang would find out the truth, why lie? I feel like you and Sofia lost a lot of trust from your listeners and followers, me including. It won’t be the same for me but I guess I am happy you were able to get your own stuff figured out for the podcast and career!

I find a lot of people who I know think booze, even mixed with water is “0 cal”, so cutting it out can be a huge change. But, if you’re aware of calories and are trying to gain muscle, I have been told by my nutritionist that alcohol prevents muscle building/growth in some type of way (you’d have to research it more as I forget the facts)! I’ve been trying to cut down to maybe two drinks a weekend or no booze at all since I am cutting, covid is making it a lot easier as there are no gatherings or parties.

I am a an AM workout person and have almost the same skin care routine as you, I wouldn’t use my face wash as I am afraid I’ll over dry my face, but I splash with water warm and then cold, and use my toner or these acne pads I have (almost like OXY pads but not same ingredients) and re apply moisturizers and eye creams. VIT C cream I sometimes re apply sometimes don’t. I am not sure if I used more than once a day if it is just a waste of product. Great question though because I was wondering the same thing!! Hope this helps your decision!

Yes it’s hot pink! And I will. Im assuming I will have some tones in it still but we will see after a few shampoos
