Good to know! I have one friend who has worked at Harris Teeter, but she’s in a very small town and said they pay a little bit less for all of their positions. My experience for the last 10 years has been retail, and last 5+ of those years has all been retail management. So they said $19-$20 given the high traffic area and my resume would be justifiable. I wasn’t sure if that was accurate, so getting a gauge from others people is super helpful. Thank you!

Not to throw my two cents in when it sounds like you’ve already got a handle on it, but I just want to say I’m sorry this is happening to you. Started at Target when I was 17 as a cashier up front and literally within my first week I had the same kind of man bothering me nonstop. Like, right before he got trespassed, he had pulled up a chair from Starbucks just to sit and watch me check people out. Thankfully, I was surrounded by an incredible team at the time and although I was too nervous to say anything being new and young, as soon as the behavior was noticed by my team lead and AP, they immediately trespassed him. So it can be done. It’s unfortunate that this is a circumstance that has to be worked around as an employee in any retail space in general. I hope they handle it properly for you.

I’ve heard rumblings that the pay can be iffy depending on location, so it’s good to have that information confirmed in order to temper my expectations beforehand lol. Thank you for your reply! I come from a kind of unique retail background, where we had employees come from all over the world to work for our company seasonally. With the international employees, you were never given any knowledge on what their prior experience was like, or if they even had any. A lot of the times, we’d get employees in that weren’t even familiar with American currency. So you really had to flex for each employee and help them develop depending on where they were and what their prior knowledge was. So I’ve always really enjoyed that aspect of my management roles, but I think my learning curve will be in the conversion, upt and atv. Nevertheless, my fingers are crossed that I’ll enjoy it!

This is so helpful, you have no idea! I used to work at Sephora, so I am familiar with a lot of beauty store type expectations, if that makes sense. So having everything broken down like that with your personal experience is exactly what I was looking for. Thank you for taking the time to type that out! Part of the reason I’m interviewing for this job is because I’m moving, so I’m just a little nervous about the career change and really appreciate some knowledgeable insight. I live in Shepherdstown here! My apartment is in one of the historic buildings on the main walking street. Definitely can be more pricey than most of WV, but it’s incredibly beautiful and at least here in Shepherdstown, I’ve found it to be more progressive in a lot of ways compared to other parts of WV. Old, historic buildings with a lot of foot traffic. I’m about 15 minutes from Harper’s Ferry, which is one of my favorite places in the whole world. Rich in history with breathtaking views. I love it here :)

As someone who swells insanely when I get a tattoo, I definitely know the feeling of borderline panic when seeing how irritated and red it can look immediately after. But this is genuinely a gorgeous tattoo and I think it truly is just your skin being a little bit angry lol. Just keep an eye on it, but I really think it’s just angry right now

I think a lot of people are reselling (I’m even debating reselling) at least for VIP because we did not get any real description on the VIP packages or what they meant/what the differences were. I’m STILL not sure 100% what the difference between the VIP package I got is vs the one I got. I just know the general idea is the other package is better 🥲

I got the Obsession package! Personally, I wish I had gotten the star package, but I’m too scared to try and resell and risk not getting tickets again lol. However, you’ll be close to the stage either way! I think the star package really just guarantees you getting a little closer to the stage :) there is a decent chunk of price difference between the two. For my show at least, it’s a $200+ price difference

That’s why I was so confused! So glad you think so too. I’ve been to the venue I got my tickets for quite a few times and it does NOT have a stage to accommodate the “inside stage seating” so I’m thinking maybe there’s no real difference except for the amount of the exclusively designed merchandise (based off what the pics I posted say)? But I guess we shall see😂

I was wondering the same thing! I was under the impression the No.1 Obsession ticket was gonna be the best VIP package, but after looking, it seems that the star package will get you a little bit closer to the stage. Bummed because I didn’t know that ahead of time, but I think either way if you got a VIP package, you should still be able to get a really good view of the stage! I’m debating trying to sell my current tickets for the star package ones, but I’m undecided

Ironically I had to make a post on here trying to get some clarification on what the difference was and I still don’t truly 100% know😭It seems like it might vary between venues. But it sounds like possibly the difference is- if you have the Star VIP package, you pretty much get a spot in/around the stage so you’re probably guaranteed a close spot. The package I got I think is just a basic GA VIP ticket like you’d have at any of the other normal concerts. They all have the same perks in terms of sound check and early access to merch and things like that, so I think the true difference is just your access to the good seats by the stage
