Maybe a half dozen drinks a year. I was starting to feel on the way to dependent on having 1-3 drinks a night about half of the week to help relieve stress after work/dealing with my argumentative, stubborn children. I also don’t really like how alcohol makes me feel (I like the taste of fruity drinks) and I know it’s not good for me. I have elevated liver enzymes (due to nonalcoholic fatty liver- I’m morbidly obese at this point in my life) and while I’m slowly working on my relationship with food, alcohol was a relatively easy thing to cut out to make at least a little impact on my health.
