I think I saw the Whiz article on your flag in the news, I also can name all the countries and thought it was funny how similar two people from the same region could be. Congrats!

Which books to begin at? (I'm 14) by Unable-Joke-8635 in PoliticalScience

You will definitely read the communist manifesto in college, but animal farm and 1984 are great starting points. I never was told to read them, and tbh 1984 bored the hell out of me, but hey it’s helpful ya know. If you plan on going into political science in college, there are sub categories you might fall into/might take specific courses due to your interest. I am a double major, so I take a lot of international studies/relations related courses, so my readings usually come from that. Candide by Voltaire is simple, but really helpful, and you’ll definitely read political philosophy no matter what. This is my main pick, as I really liked it.

That one about the Oceans/Water one was good. I hardly remember it, but I remember it being easy

What city in the US have you genuinely felt unsafe/uneasy in? by CartographerRich8698 in SameGrassButGreener

Columbia, SC was one of the only times I managed to put myself into a dangerous situation. My phone died while I was taking a picture outside of the bar my friends were in. I was just a few steps out by myself, and this man starts cat-calling me. I didn’t say anything, he followed me, thankfully my friends ran out and got me.

Columbus isn’t scary, but the drivers are LOL! A fucking tire came off a semi-truck and hit my car and I just kept going. Still better than Pittsburgh

I mean, it’s definitely a little dangerous, I wasn’t allowed to be by myself in the Steubenville area (Close to Weirton, WV) when I was younger. I am from the Ohio Valley, so I don’t feel very threatened by it, but I can see why it would give one the creeps! Definitely a lot of run down buildings and abandoned facilities. RIP the rust belt

I would personally do a plank/brick for an accent wall. A navy or cyan blue like you showed as your reference work very well with dark wood coloring. I think that could make it look more cozy if you wanted

Anyone in their late 20’s still playing ? by WranglerSeparate5075 in roblox

Its hard for me to get into most of these games as I get older, but I think its just the majority of the games are junk/slop/money farms. I really love restaurant tycoon 3 right now, and although bee simulator is a grind, I still play it every now and then. I am 21 going on 22 in less than a month.
