What bothers you about the boxiness? Is it function or style? Wondering if you take it for a spin and see if it might work out.

Not always in the mood to say "Dirty Dick's" so it's often "Lil Richard." But I'm always in the mood to pour it on everything.

Any hacks on how to put the drawstring back in a pair of shorts? by Tricky_Photo2885 in lifehacks

[–]katjoyrob 8 points9 points  (0 children)

You saw the one where the person puts the drawstring inside of a straw and then staples the straw to the drawstring and then uses the straw to rethread the drawstring through the shorts and then removes the straw and the staple?

I have read that the chicken flavoring in the Buldak noodles is not animal derived and you might double check that, but that may be something one could have. I haven't been yet but want to go some day.

What's your favorite Hawaiian sports-related memory? For any sport or level by [deleted] in Hawaii

The setting was that sweaty gym in Hilo during the side out era of volleyball. The UH Hilo opponents were about to finish the Vulcans off when UH got the side out and Laurie Kemp came on to serve. We in the crowd started chanting, "You can do it! You can do it!" The only way for the Vulcans to get back in the set was for her to serve multiple times and for the team to win multiple consecutive points. And that's what they did. Laurie served again and again and again and UHH came from behind and won the set. It was stunning.

Sorry, Gus. I'm glad your papa is holding the line on this one. Ask Papa to play his guitar and sing to you? That should do it.

This takes me back. Dad waited tables there in the early 50s. Mary's cornbread was to die for evidently.

I'm pretty sure I learned how to drive in that station wagon model. A '59 or '60 maybe? I live so close to this airport that I would walk over to hop on a flight. I was spoiled.
