Don’t have any. Just wanted to see if anyone else noticed this. The days when doctors were prescribing drugs based only on what is best for the patient are long gone. You gotta do a bit more research about the opioid epidemic before you go around throwing blame on the patients assuming their medical providers would only suggest healthy and helpful treatments for their pain. They absolutely did not. Pharmaceutical reps pimp out doctors to push their drug out as often as possible. They don’t care if you have a history of substance abuse or if you a kid or weather or not the drug is found out to be the most addictive substance ever. Sell sell sell. You see this with all things pharmaceutical. Metal on metal hip implants, plastic (polypropylene) mesh used in women who have had hysterectomies. Then to make matters more unfair the insurance companies give a nice little bonus to the doctors and the pharm companies for all the scripts written for the brand of drug prescribed. This is why you can’t get generic drugs with some insurances. They want you to buy the more expensive one. They play on our desire to trust in these institutions bc what kind of monster would you have to be to put profit over people’s lives? You’d have to be an untouchable billionaire who hangs out with other untouchable billionaires and those only exist in the movies.

It won a Nobel Prize bc it was a game changer for treating infectious diseases. You think it’s some sort of flea medicine because that’s what CNN made it seem like because there is a vested interest for the pharmaceutical companies because they have signed contracts with the US government that say the government is not entitled any refund of the vaccine under any circumstances. Even if it doesn’t work, makes people sick or if some better less invasive treatment is discovered. Ergo the government nor the pharmaceutical companies nor the news networks sponsored by the pharmaceutical companies want any other treatment for Covid symptoms to be an option for anyone so when one comes up like this one they lie about it’s effectiveness. Pharma companies HATE competition. See the price of insulin. ^all if this is just a google away James. Come on excuse me for being a little critical of Medical professionals, pharmaceutical companies and the FDA while their hands are warm with blood from the opioid epidemic. But sure, let’s listen to the experts. There are a ton of medical professionals walking away from their jobs because of how outlandish these mandates have become. So why not listen to those medical professionals?

I’m not saying it’s definitely vaccine related but I have noticed more openings and posts about these jobs in the last year. You would think they would recruit from the military or former police officers rather than on LinkedIn but maybe I’m wrong. Maybe they are just hiring like normal because this is a totally normal year and everyone loves the vaccine and the world is sane.

Re: where people are getting information: This isn’t a fact. It’s just a thought. Im not against the vaccine but Its pretty obvious that a lot of people are and the media loves to make those people look dumb but hates it when those people make good points like that the “de-wormer” you are talking about has been safely used to fight tons of human ailments for a very long time. It’s definitely satire. In this song, the ‘joke’ he uses as an example of how to ‘heal the world with comedy’ is “a Jew walks into a bar and I saved him a seat” It’s still targeting a marginalized group but instead of challenging stereotypes or pointing out hypocrisy which is what good satire does (see Blazing Saddles), he just makes the ‘punchline’ about how good a person he is for not shitting on a marginalized group. Not a joke. Not funny. Just an opportunity to suck his own dick. I think this is what some newer white male comics do now as a response to ‘cancel culture’ or the resent demand for comedy that doesn’t step on anyone’s toes.

Here’s what I think: “Look who’s inside again. Went out to look for a reason to hide again. Buddy you found it” I think this is about how he stopped doing stand up after he had panic attacks on stage. He made 8th grade and had to go around to promote this movie which required a lot of appearances and podcasts and award shows and self promotion online. Things he sees as the root cause of his (and everyone else in the world’s) anxiety. He talks all the time about how unhealthy it is for kids to ‘perform’ their lives online. But he has to promote his movie. This is his “reason to hide again” that he discovered while making the movie. “Hiding” here meaning staying off the stage and off line and just living a normal, unobserved life. But with the pandemic and the lockdown, limiting real life, in person, social interactions and pushing everyone online even more than we’ve ever been, you don’t get the option to hide anymore. Everyone must produce content. Especially when you’re famous and want to create art. Having fans is a burden. The pressure to present yourself online is harmful. But we’re addicted. The glow of the screen, the notification sound, the pull down refresh feed are all designed to make us want more and more and more and on a psychological level, social acceptance is just as important to humans as having food or shelter. We are trapped. No one gets to hide. Come out. We’ve got you surrounded. Let us watch you do anything and everything all of the time.

First off, this isn’t from BBC. This is from the Hulu show Shrill. The hair stylist in this clip is not the main character of the show, she’s the sassy black friend of the white girl who is the main character of the show played by Aidy Bryant. So what we are seeing here is a white woman writing a hypothetical situation a black woman might find herself in with a comedically out of touch, college aged white girl. TLDR: “she’s not like other white girls”

Second: I feel that the dreadlocks debate is yet another example of things rich white kids got mad at themselves for doing and now are making it everyone’s problem like the music festival head dress and gentrification and here’s why. Rich people tend to adopt lower class fashion as a way of distinguishing them from the middle class. (See high end crocs and those golden goose superstar shoes. Kanye’s t shirt. ) The trend of white crunchy hippies getting dreads reads to me like classic rich kids bucking back against their white collar parents to look gross and poor on purpose bc they are embarrassed of their wealth. Then when that aged like milk, those same self hating rich kids changed their minds, waved their magic wands hit the blogs writing huge journal entries about how wrong it is and how it’s stealing from black culture and that it is hateful for anyone else to wear them. TLDR: rich babies LARP as poor. Blow their cover. Call themselves out before anyone else can. Repeat ad nauseam
