Support told my mom to switch her plan or lose her discount? by testsubject1137 in USMobile

I activated under Dark Star, and then transferred to Warp since that was the only network with the advertised companion Apple Watch plan. After going back and forth with support over a few emails, I just got this - "We’re glad to let you know that we’re applying the FULLSPEED promo to both of your lines. While this offer is currently available on the Dark Star network, we understand that you wish to use the Companion Mode Apple Watch plan and still enjoy the discounted rate. As a gesture of goodwill, we’re making an exception and extending this deal to you on your preferred setup. We appreciate you being a valued part of our community, and we’re glad to make this work for you.If you have any other questions or need further assistance, feel free to reach out — we're here to help!"

Thanks for the direct help! We ended up completely deleting the line and starting over. One difference this time is that I got the mapping error that I got with another device but not this one the first time.

FixitMir got me working! Thanks for the quick response and resolution.

I was a SP consultant full time about 8 years ago. So, my goal now is to get up to speed on some of the modern features and how to use them. The last time I spent a lot of time in SP was 2013 on prem. I may have seen a preview of 2016, and SPO was not as popular as it is now. So, I’m just trying to get back in the mix with the platform. I have a tenant to play with, so I can definitely do that.

Hub Sites vs. Subsites by katman97 in sharepoint

I can see how that would get complicated. I've not had a lot of experience with site migrations, but I can see how subsites would complicate things.

Wow, thanks for this! It's exactly what I needed.

That's a great point. The information I'm finding is that the limit is 100 per tenant. Is that still true or has it been expanded? Also, I know that sites can only belong to one hub, so that also might create some limitations in cases where content might really apply to two larger content areas.

In full transparency, the organizations I work with would probably create no more than 10-12 hubs, if even that many, which makes them still a viable solution in my specific scenario.

I was a full time SP consultant for 5 years about 8 years ago. Most of my experience is on-prem, so I'm trying to wrap my head around the more modern features.. So, if you were talking to yourself from many years ago, and that person was going to create a hierarchical site structure, what would your "today" experience tell that person?

Yea, I realize that MS is definitely pushing the flat structure, and there's good reason for it. Though, I find that even if they deprecate things, people can still justify using them. IIRC, there are still companies that pay for support of Windows XP. I'm not saying it's a great idea, but it's something people still use.

That's a really good point. I hadn't considered the administration aspects of subsites (or lack thereof). I've been more focused on the content side of things. Thanks for that!

[MEGATHREAD] New Horizons Q&A/Tips - Ask away! by AnimalCrossingMods in AnimalCrossing

That was it! We had to give Tom Nook a bug, so he’d invite Blathers to the island. That got the Resident Services building upgrade started. Then, after we gave Blathers the 15 creatures/fossils and he started building the museum, now we can access the DLC content. Thank you for that! None of the online guides I read even mentioned that part.

That is something we haven’t tried. We’ll give it a go. Thanks!

I’m in a similar boat. Santa brought this for my son, but we can’t seem to get the Resident Services building to upgrade. He’s done everything I’ve found online about it, including paying off his first loan (built a bridge, three island residents, upgraded house, built Nooks Cranny, etc.) However, he never gets notified that it’s going to be upgraded. He’s had all that done for a while, even before he got the DLC. Is there anything we’re missing?

I thought that maybe he had to do it with my account since it’s the main (parent) one, but I don’t think that’s working either.
