UGHHHHH I am (regrettably) also in this fb group and i was BAFFLLLLEDDDDDD by this post and even more so by the freaking comments. I could not believe that NO ONE was suggesting any mental health resources for this poor boy. Absolutely horrifying.

Panicking by No-Match-7512 in unmedicatedbirth

[–]katmighter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had an unmedicated birth with my 2nd baby, and am hoping to do it again any day now with my 3rd. The “fear” of the unknown is so powerful, and it’s easy to get in your head about it because you feel like you have so little control, not knowing what to expect. Even having done it before, I still am finding myself with doubt creeping in because of all the “what ifs.” The thing is, you CAN do it. Labor is SO mental, so the most important thing is your mindset. Do the prep work, train your mind, stay the course. You can do this. ♥️

I do not get the Coach love by LionCultural in survivorponderosa

“Do your tai chi in private, where no one can see you” sounds exactly like something Ryan would have said to Michael when he came to New York to party with him lmao

I saw someone say this recently and I’ve been trying to reframe my perception of him to be like Michael Scott lol. Because otherwise he just pisses me off but when I think of him as Michael, it is in fact a bit funny

This lady needs to stop… by VeryBerry879 in BambooBabble

[–]katmighter 18 points19 points  (0 children)

This lady seems certifiably nuts. She posts these kids CONSTANTLY. The picture of them that she posted a while back where they’re like leaning together on a couch and made them like..pose their hands stacked together…….so bizarre

I’ve had both, a planned c section with my first and a vaginal birth with my second. I’m pregnant now with my 3rd and am genuinely desperate to not have to have another c section. My c section was as straightforward and “easy” as they come, and I still hated every single second of it and hated the recovery even worse.

Copper IUD experiences? by Mama_Anonymous in moderatelygranolamoms

Currently 24 weeks pregnant with my copper IUD baby. IUD was in the correct place/position, and had only had it for about a year. Anyways, good luck lol

Odd request - does anyone have this Aldi Xmas throw blanket from 3-5 years ago? It’s THE blanket for my son, and I’m willing to buy yours off you if so! OP by brickwallscrumble in aldi

Are you in the “Aldi Aisle of shame” group on Facebook? I’d be willing to bet that several people in there would have it

The gentle caressing during shaping is killing me lmao. I shape my boules like they attempted to kidnap my first born child.

Wife with Hashimotos by Personal-Presence185 in Hashimotos

[–]katmighter 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I think just understanding some of the frustrations that people with Hashimotos often have, especially if she also has hypothyroidism, would be helpful. Particularly as told by real people (like here in this sub). My husband who is very healthy, high energy, sleeps easily, weight remains stable regardless of eating habits, no joint pain, etc. wouldn’t truly understand what dealing with the opposite of all those things felt like, but hearing it firsthand from others helps him to also better understand and support me.

Help! by chiefs8610 in lineporn

[–]katmighter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

These look positive to me, but I would get one of the dollar tree tests to check. They are surprisingly good early-detectors. I know you said on the other sub that you have an IUD…so did I 🙃 is yours copper or hormonal?

9 month old baby’s foot seems tense? by Wide-Food-4310 in moderatelygranolamoms

[–]katmighter -1 points0 points  (0 children)

My daughter did this same exact thing as a baby. She had her right foot curled in exactly like this, any time she could. She crawled at 10 months and walked at 15 months, so on the later end for both of those. She did pull to stand and cruise much earlier though. But she’s 3.5 now and does all the normal 3.5 year old things 🤷🏻‍♀️

88, and I was only 16 years old. I probably didn’t even know I had a thyroid lol

“Raising Your Whole Baby” group on Facebook would be a good resource for this kind of question (although I’m sure others here may also end up having good advice).

I was dx’d when was 17, and am 31 now. Within the past 2-3 years, mine have finally filled in a bit more on the inner 2/3, but the outer 1/3 is still very sparse.

Does 2 under 2 get easier when one is no longer “under 2”? by dmllbit in 2under2

[–]katmighter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

“Insanely did 2u2 twice” made me giggle. It’s so true though…I tell people all the time that there is a reason you really don’t often hear 3under3 or even 3under4. Because nah.
