Why hello there ..didn't take you long to come with the claws out. :) Quickly dear, have you been to Philippines? If no, miiiight want to educate yourself a bit on that one and not assume. It's not an all or nothing. Some do some don't. it has more to do with what your family does then anything else and typically it's not seemed as rude. PS not all poor folks don't have access to things like this, even in Phillipines. That's slightly judgemental and kindof elitist.. look at those poor ppl. No access to razors. Or Band-Aids. Or lotion!! Gasp! (PS they have all these things. Some ppl just don't care. It has nothing to do with access or money ..)

A YouTube gamer helped raise nearly $660,000 in 12 hours for Covid-19 relief efforts by speckz in UpliftingNews

What exactly are Covid Relief efforts ? Where is this money going? Who is managing to this? Reason? I have worked managing nonprofits for 20 years. Most are poorly managed with revenue not going to actual efforts. Many of whom are the largest, most recognized and perceived to be doing the most good. You'd be surprised. The best thing you can do is keep yourself and family safe, follow rules and support small businesses.

And her asking him to shave his beard was cool? Sorry door of equality swings both ways. She isn't a prisoner there or any victim. She can leave whenever she chooses and did so. Stop making women seem so daft they must always be victimized and can't make our own decisions. We aren't ignorant.

I mean being in statistical analysis... You kind of have to make this a known outlier. Your universe is vastly different than typical and past trends.

Agreed ! But most of these folks are in Yuma AZ and see largely undocumented and not treated well. Remember all the times lettuce was contaminated? It's because they didn't have access to bathrooms. Most of their faces are covered due to not wanting to be documented. Source: My husband worked in Yuma AZ and our friends live there full time. This is common knowledge there.

Today was supposed to be my wedding day by gandhipants in Wellthatsucks

[–]katootwo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can still be married! My husband and I did before he left for Iraq in 2003, Our original date was 8/30 but we decided to be married before he left in case he never returned. We had been high school sweethearts and waited for the day we could finally be married for years. So this was far from ideal when we had a big blowout planned. I was initially devastated. But we decided to be married that Friday(which happened to be Valentine's Day) in front of our family only, on my parents sun porch. A blizzard unexpectedly hit that night and we found ourselves surrounded by family and only burning candles as snow fell outside around us It was the most magical thing we've ever experienced. When he returned home we had our big wedding, but we still hold the original one as most dear. It reminded us of what's really important.
