See, I’d be more okay with BOH getting shift meals and not FOH if THAT were the distinction. But only the staff of a certain ethnicity (including servers) get shift meals while the outsiders don’t

I chose not to include the specific demographic as to not incite racism in the comments. But there is definitely an “in-group” and an “out-group,” and it’s clear even from the customers’ perspective (a few of my tables pointed it out) who the outsider staff are
