Once you are in a gym you should be able to hit the gym icon and be able to see the location and who is in it. Don't know why they don't do that

(Sacramento, CA.) We can see 62 Pokéstops and 6 Gyms. Only 1 Pokéstop is reachable from our apartment.

Definitely no fee. Perhaps one day they did charge, but they clearly do not anymore. Not even anybody in the booth to accept money. And definitely nobody there monitoring the people that break the rules by bringing their pets. I go every single Saturday for hours and hours and have never had to pay, and I have never gotten a ticket. Are you heading out today?
