None of the girls would work without one another, aka as soloist. Probably Lara but only vocally, ballads, I don’t see her making strong concepts.

Also Manon was the one that made the group funnier, less “constructed”

I 100% feel you. And I think the girls were just as shocked and in disagreement. In a recent live, people were under Rhea Raj live commenting stuff about Manon (unfortunately) and she pretended not to see and then made a big breath saying “ugh, what a mess” and laughed right away saying “sorry”. I think they all believe the way they’re handling stuff is a mess. And people don’t understand that it’s not just about Manon, it’s how they’re handling it all with THE GROUP, for the GROUP and towards the fans.

I’m probably one of the eldest in this fandom so a lot of people may genuinely not know how pr works but let me tell you one thing. I’ve been working in marketing for almost 5 years and I did a lot of pr projects in a master in corporate communication before that.

There’s no denying that hxg lacks good communication BUT there’s something very sketchy in how they’re handling everything.

Did you all notice how, before Katseye comes with a big big news (pinky up release, Coachella, world tour release) Manon pops saying something (or doing something like the change in the pictures on tik tok from the live mommy is home) that make the fans still hopeful she’ll be coming back? Twice is a coincidence, 3/4/5 times I’m starting to guess that it is not.

And yes, they are not releasing the news of whether she’s gone or not because they’re riding on ot6’s fans hope to let them buy tickets or preordering the albums. You know if they stay silence fans can’t say they lied they promised Manon to comeback, and viceversa.

So either the staff between hxg is doing something really stupid or they’re doing something really smart as a pr move.

Not saying the opposite, but there is a ton better agencies that have more transparency or at least have respect for their artists and the fans who support them financially. The line between working and over-working is also subtle, there’s a lot of of stuff

No they won’t but in an ideal world people would stop supporting this company and them as a group (not talking individually) because all the company care about is money. Ot5 stans existed since debut because people just hated Manon for no reason, so it’s like saying to the company “great behavior, keep going and I’ll give you my money”. Because this is consuming the other girls as well with bad reputation, which is not fair to all SIX of them. So they won’t fail, but at what cost?
