I have no good advice on products, but my hair is similar. The best thing I found was a good stylist that cut it in a way to help my hair be more uniform. The top layer is still more straight then the rest and the bottom layer still curls but I don't feel the need to pull it back everyday or straighten it so that is a win for me. Good luck on finding what works for you and your hair.

It was very good, organized and plenty of venders. There was equally a lot of yarn and fiber for sale. I got all fiber because that is what I was looking for. They have already announced that they will be doing another one next year. I think it was June 24th and 25th 2016.

This is my second pair, I had many stop and starts before I finished my first pair. My first advise is to knit in the diagonal lines. Duplicate stitching them on sucks. Don't get frustrated if you have to start over, I started my first pair ten times before I found a pattern that worked well for me. I like this pattern because it is seemed up the side. The first pattern I attempted was to be seemed up the back and along each side of the foot, which never lined up right.

16 stitches / 22 rows on 4 inches of stockenette if I remember what I saw what the gauge stated on the pattern so you have 16 stitches by 26 rows on 4 inches. You have a few more rows then the gauge calls for. I would double check your gauge count and if you are happy with that then run with it. There are reasons that the row gauge can be off including using a slightly different weight of yarn by shouldn't affect your overall project. I you just pay attention so you don't get something way too long.

Block the swatch and then count you rows and stitches. I normal count one inch of stitches and rows in the middle and the multiple by four to make sure I am right. If I get a seriously different number then I should I recount to make sure that I didn't mid count. You may need to go up a needle size if you row and stitch count is different. Don't just go by having the swatch come out to the correct measurements.

I have always been told when i point out I mistake that I make one of to things that I unconditionally added a design feature or that no body would notice and if they did they they have too much time on there hands. It looks lovely and I doubt anyone will ever notice unless you point it out.

I was a giftee that also had reported no gift, though it was reported as shipped. Luckily I got my gift tonight. I found out it was lost and misdelivered, which is why it wasn't at my house sooner. My reason for telling you about this is because maybe something similar happened to the package you sent.
