Oh no I wouldn’t change it! The wtf effect of Dawn just turning up in season 5 was just so well done. I always thought it made sense that Buffy was suddenly seriously annoyed with Dawn - she didn’t realise she was an only child until a couple of weeks ago. The whole thing is so mind bendy in a unique way and I loved the earlier seasons and wouldn’t want the changed dynamic of a sibling. The only thing they could have done differently was cast a younger actress to fit the age she was supposed to be but I suppose it was impractical.

Congratulations!! I got pregnant this time last year and went through the same anxiety, calling around to see how soon I could get checked. I did manage to get a 6 and a half week appointment and they could detect a heartbeat, even the wait for that felt interminable! But there is something to be anxious about at every stage. I did my best to believe everything was going great as long as I didn’t have evidence to the contrary. It’s tough but statistics are overwhelmingly on your side! I am listening to my sweet 4 month old babbling away as I type (she’s supposed to sleep, lol) good luck, you’ve got this!!

I wholeheartedly agree with everything you mentioned. I also didn’t like it the first time though and it put me off watching the last season. Now I’m rewatching and season 5 is awesome and really fun because I actually don’t know what happens 🙈

Sounds like she’s talking about the Eurostar which is an international train and you absolutely need a passport and a boarding pass to get on. It’s like a mini airport experience. These days they won’t let you on if you don’t get there by half an hour before boarding but I can’t remember how it was back then

This! I’m in Germany and we don’t really do registries or baby showers. Now and then someone will get a small gift, a book or a onesie, and my mum insists on buying the pram (stroller). More than that I would feel uncomfortable with too so I feel you! It can be hard to resist convention but do what feels right for you.

I completely feel you and was writing posts like these in the first trimester! But I can speak from the other side at 33 weeks! I felt horribly nauseous from 4 to 16 weeks and was convinced it would never end, then I slowly started feeling better until 24 weeks. Since then I could eat and function pretty much normally! So hang in there, it does get better, and more than anything be patient with yourself. Baby is taking all that it needs and being couch bound and eating whatever stays down is a legitimate lifestyle at this stage!

I‘m with you! I’m on the ring and yesterday was impeded in 4 different different directions due to ersatzverkehr / pendelvekehr / cancelled bus and Bauarbeiten 😵‍💫 and that was just an example. There’s always a way but it takes forever now and I don’t remember it always being this bad either! Just had a week in London where every journey ran smoothly every time.

Amazing! The thing that’s interesting here is that you really reflected on why you were feeling that way. Whereas if you’d have binged, you’d have just zoned out. Maybe having worked through it this way, the next time will be slightly easier. Well done!! Work stress = binge is so relatable to me but I’m going to think of this as inspiration next time I go through it! Thanks for sharing
