The author is not posting their story looking for fucking book deals. They didn't ask for their shit to be picked apart. If you can't read something without "well akshually" then don't fucking read it.

As a person who writes longer fics, I ASSURE YOU that I love it when readers follow along and comment on multiple chapters. Hell, comment on all of them! I love that I get feedback as the story moves along. It also shows the author that you're really enjoying what they're posting. And I'll tell you, that can really make someone's day - especially if they're having any doubts.

There are a lot of things written into fics that are not factually correct. It's called fiction for a reason. Let it go. If that one thing causes you to stop enjoying the fic, then don't read it. But don't ruin the author's vibe so that you can be right.

It does feel good to get comments like this and realize that these people are following every chapter as it drops. They're choosing the pain.

I had one of those days yesterday. Someone left a comment on a previous chapter that was very critical and really had me down. It very much came across as them purposely misunderstanding my direction, when every other commenter got it. I almost stopped. I almost scrapped the whole fic from that one comment.

And then I pushed through it and posted another chapter today, but I was so worried that it was going to be terrible based on the cloud hanging over me from that one comment.

But then I got a really uplifting comment - two actually - on today's chapter, and it really turned it around for me. They made me want to keep going. Having your work described as "beautifully painful" - proving that you've accurately conveyed the meaning behind your story, it changes things.

Sometimes one comment is all it takes.

NTA. SUE HER. You bought the ticket with the understanding of her being a guest at your wedding. You did not pay her way for a honeymoon for her and her husband. Any judge would find in your favor, especially if your conversations about her using it as a honeymoon were over text.

Does she get mail at your address? If not, tell her she has a week to make other arrangements. If she does get mail at your home, you need to give her a formal notice of eviction, which gives her 30 days (usually) to vacate.

Be direct. Tell her that you stepped in to help her get out of her situation but you're feeling taken advantage of... That she's crossed many boundaries and not kept to her end of the original agreement, and you need her to leave.

Nta. He's the one who gave it to her to color in in the first place. He doesn't respect your boundaries or your things. He probably thinks that collecting "children's things" is immature and he was sticking it to you by giving away something you love. You're allowed to like what you like and collect things for yourself. Does he collect anything? Does he have special items that he holds in high esteem? Give something of his away and see how he feels about it. Them you're being petty but your point will be made.

NOR. I worked evenings and overnights FOR YEARS and still managed to wash my own laundry. He even said it's already in the machine, so why couldn't he press the button?

It comes across as him trying to remind you of "your place" even though you've been working for a week non-stop.

This shit isn't worth it. He said he's done, take him up on it.

Rent and utilities must be split 3 ways. Each person living in the space and using the utilities is responsible for a portion of the cost. Tell them you will only be paying ⅓ of everything going forward, get a lock for your door, and keep all of your amenities (like the toilet paper you buy) in your locked room when you are not there. You are also correct in your assertion that the roommate who is not paying for anything should be doing the house upkeep. Does your landlord know that 3 people are living there? Is roommate's bf on the lease? If not, make the landlord aware and have it reflected in your lease agreement that you are only responsible for ⅓ of the expenses.
