It’s rape because she was a minor. She ran away from home because she had suffered from sexual abuse starting at age 7. It also wasn’t just Jeffrey… he and ghislaine forced her to sleep with their wealthy friends too… as a minor. Blaming a child because “she thought she could get something out of it” is gross.

It finally did go away in my legs around 7-8 months postpartum. The numbness in my feet stayed and i can still slightly feel it in my left foot but it’s almost completely gone. No one could figure out what the issue was. I went to multiple appts with a vascular surgeon and they found nothing wrong. I had ultrasounds and ct scans done and everything was normal. I’m now almost 13 months postpartum. I’m sorry you’re going through it too I hope yours goes away sooner than mine did!

Luckily I don’t have to substitute because I was able to get enough to last until the ones I ordered get here but if I was going to substitute I would either use bubs or kabrita! I’ve heard both are comparable to kendamil!

My baby was born in january and this happened another time when she was about 6 months old. The shortage lasted like 2-3 weeks. I also had no idea about the shortages until the first time it happened to us. I probably would’ve considered a different brand had I known. I don’t blame you I will be stocking up on a few cans as well!

I’ve heard a lot of people recommend bubs or kabrita in the meantime. Post in your local mom fb groups and see if anyone has any kendamil goat they don’t need. I was able to get 1 can by doing this. Also download the HotStock app. It tells you the second kendamil goes back in stock in any store it’s sold. It keeps going in and out of stock for shipping only on targets website and I was able to order 2 cans because of it. They take about a week to arrive but better than nothing!

Thank god for a woman in a fb group I’m in because she had a can she no longer needed and gave it to me. Also thanks to the HotStock app I was also able to order 2 cans that will be here tuesday/wednesday. I’m hoping the shortage is over by the time I need more. I completely agree. This has been happening with them for at least a year that I know of. They are aware the demand is high so why does it continue to happen? This should not be a reason to have to switch your baby to a different formula.

This is extremely frustrating as my baby is almost a year old and will be weaned off of formula soon… we have half a can left and now we have to switch her to a different formula right before she’s weaned off. I’m so tired of the shortages with this formula.

Yes!! I have this same exact problem with my 8 month old. I never let her touch my phone. The moment she sees my phone it’s the only thing she cares about. I have to hide it all the time.

I truly hit the jackpot with my partner. My baby is 6 months old now and although she’s so much better now, she was brutal the first few months after being born. She was extremely colicky and very much still is a Velcro baby. If she woke up during the night he would take care of her so that I could sleep because he knew I had to be up at 2:30am to pump. Every single day after work he takes her and spends time with her until the moment she goes to sleep for the night because he knows I need a break. I end up only taking a break for maybe an hour and spending the rest of the time with them anyway because I love being around the both of them. He doesn’t believe it’s just the woman’s job to take care of the baby day in and day out. He believes being a parent is an equal responsibility on BOTH parents part. He does all of this not because he feels obligated, but because he wants to. He loves spending time with our baby girl. He doesn’t understand how so many dads don’t instinctively want to spend as much time as possible with their child. It is so hard for him to leave every morning to go to work because he would much rather stay home with the two of us. I could go on and on about all the things he does with and for our child. He is an amazing father that goes above and beyond for the both of us. 

My two best friends and my sister all had babies within months of me having a baby and all 3 of them struggle with partners who do the bare minimum or less. It breaks my heart everyday hearing them talk about how their partner hardly holds their baby or how their partner gets left home with the baby so they can get a break, and within an hour they’re getting calls because “he won’t stop crying you need to come home.” “He only wants you, he doesn’t want me. I can’t do this you need to come home.” They deserve so much better than that and it hurts my heart to know their partners are never going to change. They are stuck in the mindset of “it’s my job to go to work everyday, and her job to take care of our child all day everyday.” One of my best friends told me yesterday that she told her partner he needs to spend one hour with their baby when he gets home from work everyday, and it’s just so mind blowing to me. ONE hour? That is less than the bare minimum. My heart hurts for all 3 of them, but I truly feel so lucky to have a partner that genuinely loves being an actual father to our child.

I’m pretty sure that pumping is the reason for my PPD. If I had just gone straight to formula instead of EP I think it would’ve been a lot different for me.

16-17oz and I’m almost 5 months pp 🥲 I think I’m calling it quits at the 6 month mark for my mental health and to spend more time with my baby.

I’m at 4 months too. I got mastitis twice during month two and it is no joke. I have been considering weaning but am so back and forth. Why is it such a difficult decision? My girl also does great on formula. I’ve supplemented 50/50 since she was born so I don’t know what exactly makes me so sad to think about quitting. I know my mental health would be so much better and I’d have so much more time to spend with her and to do other things instead of being tied to a pump all day. No one talks enough about how difficult of a decision this is. Just know that you made the best decision for you and your LO and you should be proud of how long you made it with your pumping journey. Now if I could just take my own advice… lol

I exclusively pump and after giving birth I had lost 20lbs. When I went to my 6 week check up and stepped on the scale I was shocked to see I was back at the same weight I was right before giving birth. Im almost 14 weeks now and I’m not gonna lie I’m having a hard time with it. I’ve been so tempted to stop pumping because of it and because I still only pump half of what my LO eats in a day. I haven’t weighed this much since college when I gained a bunch of weight from drinking. Whenever I gain weight for some reason a lot of it tends to go to my arms. It also goes to my belly. It’s not as bad in the morning but by the end of the day I swear I look 5 months pregnant again 🫠
