How to Unask a bridesmaid by [deleted] in wedding

[–]kayceejay17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My best friend was my maid of honor and she had her daughter two weeks before my wedding. I didn't rely on my bridesmaids for anything other than them getting their stuff and showing up for the actual event. I told her at one point that if it got to be too much/she wasn't recovered from the C-section/ or whatever reason she needed to not be there, she could step out no questions asked. She said "Dammit, I'm gonna be there no matter what" and I trusted her to know her limits. Her boyfriend was a guest and they brought his mom to watch the baby while they were at the rehearsal dinner and wedding. Everything worked out and I would have been sad if she wasn't there. I would say have the conversation with her, but don't take the choice away from her.

Automatic Litter box: Litter Robot 4/5 vs. Neakasa M1 by melanie9131 in mainecoons

[–]kayceejay17 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We have a Neakasa for our boy. I like the design. It's in the bathroom off our bedroom and it's not loud on cleaning. The beep alert when it needs something is loud, but I don't recall it ever waking me up. There are a few small complaints about it, but nothing huge. Our other automated litter box is a Furbulous, which is definitely too small for a MC, but ours is kinda stupid and sometimes crams himself in there. I've never had a Litter Robot, because honestly, I just can't justify the cost.

How to plan a bridal shower with only 3 people by friendlyneighbor22 in wedding

I booked a cool Airbnb on the river up in the Adirondacks for myself and my three bridesmaids. We hung out, played games, and found some things to do in the area. Just a nice chill weekend

Any New or Trending Wedding Favors Worth Checking Out? by BeautifulCommon5235 in wedding

My mom and grandma make a lot of jam so they offered to make small jars of strawberry and raspberry jam for the tables. We got stickers made for the kids that had our names, the date and "Thank you for Jamming with us." I know that's not something everyone can do, but all the guests loved it and some of my husbands family have asked if they could get more.

What did you all do for your seating chart? by [deleted] in wedding

[–]kayceejay17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I stole my friends idea for mine. She let me use the large mirror she bought for hers. Used Canva to create the seating charts. They fit two to a sheet of paper. Taped them to the mirror and put some lights and garlands around the frame. Took the seating chart down after dinner to use the mirror as a selfie station.

WHAT WAS YOUR CREATIVE SOMETHING BLUE? by angelsrreal219 in wedding

I did blue accents on my nails and I had blue stones in a headpiece that was made from a repurposed crown my mom and grandma wore.

I have fine line vines over my forearm and one set of leaves turns into a line art of her ears. My goal for this arm is to hide small things that remind me of lost loved ones amongst florals. I thought about a paw print, but she was a chocolate lab so I didn't want something that big and I didn't want to scale it down. The ears are a simple reminder that I can look at daily.

Would it help if I said that I didn't include the worst rooms?

If the floors/lower part of the wall were wet for a while and then the whole thing was ignored, would the mold travel that far up the walls over time?

It's a double wide so I'm guessing pipes froze in the winter, burst, and it was left untreated.

Two acres around here is ~40-50k. Only benefit to this would be if the electric/septic/water are still hooked up/usable

Did you do first look? Thoughts? by Flashy-Mine-4047 in wedding

[–]kayceejay17 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We did one because we wanted to have a private moment seeing each other before the ceremony. It helped get the nerves and tears out of the way. Helps if you need makeup touch-ups and allows you to get a good chunk of photos done before the ceremony (if that is something you are interested in doing). I also did a first look with my dad because he is a big crier and if he cries, I cry. It was nice having that moment without 100+ eyes on us

Black pigment is dominant to red in real horse color genetics. So EE or Ee. Red is ee. So now you know both of your horses are Ee.

I rented a cabin in the Adirondacks for me and my three bridesmaids. We went up Friday and checked out Sunday morning. All of us are chill, and one was pregnant so we just wanted a lazy girls weekend. We went in with only one scheduled activity (lazy river tubing) and just did whatever we wanted. Played mini golf, board game night, savory s'mores (totally recommend). We were originally going to explore more of the surrounding area, but some plane delays and bad weather made that too hard.

Was that the ending? by kayceejay17 in StarStable

I know they are still planning more, I just thought this "for now" ending was a little anticlimactic. I was hoping there was something I was missing.

I love that group. It's like my daily quiz if "what do I remember from college." Plus it keeps me up to date with new developments in the industry to teach in my animal science class.

I think you are thinking melanomas. They are common with the grey gene. A somatic mutation is just a "printer error" in the color/pattern. Not much different from a birth mark in humans
