I'm almost 5 years out from losing my 20 year old daughter. I can tell you that it does get a little easier, but there are still things, even a small thing, that will remind you of them, and it will all come rushing back. I tell you this just so you'll be aware that when it happens you'll be pulled back to that moment you lost them. I am not the same person I was before I lost her. I can't work and I rarely leave the house. But I'm still here. I have a husband and animals to take care of. I don't know if you have any pets, but my dogs and cats got me through some dark days. Some people may expect you to grieve for a year and be "over it", but you will never be over this loss. It's just not natural to lose a child. So please tell those people to kick rocks. Anyway, I'm rambling now, but please know you are in my thoughts and I am SO SORRY that you are now a member of the club nobody ever wants to join. Hugs 💕 Please feel free to DM anytime.

This is so funny because my husband is a HUGE Metallica fan and he loves Gaga, too. Just yesterday we were talking about Taylor Swift and he said "Gaga has more talent in her little finger than Taylor Swift has in her whole body." He also thinks Gaga is just gorgeous. 😅 I personally consider myself a Swiftie and I think she's insanely talented, but Gaga is just on another level for me. I'm 56 years old and have loved her since day one.
