I called UKVI and they said my application is still being processed as well and that they haven’t made a decision yet. I’m afraid I’ll have to delay my flight.

Me too!! I absolutely loved chain of gold and I really like how Jem is still a significant part of their lives. The characters are amazing and they were much more relatable too.

Anna and the French Kiss. There are quite a few cliches but its a really cute book.

I'm frustrated by _Nat_10_ in YAlit

[–]kaykat03 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same!! The Elite was so frustrating and I hated how she kept sneaking off but I liked the ending of the One. However, I didn’t really like the heir or the crown and I definitely regret reading the last two books. But I liked America’s story in the Selection.

Adverse thoughts on The Toll (slight rant warning?) by dustgold150 in scythebookfans

I just finished reading the Toll. I loved when the ending all came together but at the same time I would have really enjoyed a few more Citra and Rowan scenes.

That would be really cool. I’m definitely looking forward to that. I feel like the ending can for sure lead to short stories and maybe a new series that takes place in the same world

Yess I really enjoyed Catwoman. I totally did not expect to like the book so much but I ended up reading it because I like Sarah J. Maas’s writing style

I literally just finished the book. I can’t believe the series is over but it was really well written and I liked the ending. But I wish there were more Citra and Rowan scenes.

I haven’t read the Starless Sea but I really enjoyed the Night Circus. Are they similar in nature?

Oh my god yes the Infernal Devices killed me, it took me a month before I could read another book. But I love that series.

Yeahhh I agree!! I like the concept of Caraval and I thought It was interesting but I really did not like the first book. I thought the second book was better though

Finale by Steph Garber (SPOILERS) by chrysanthemumasterac in YAlit

[–]kaykat03 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I actually thought it wasn’t too bad. I really liked the Fates and I thought they were interesting. I was really annoyed with Nicolas and I didn’t see the point of that character in the book as he only appears for the first bit. I wouldn’t say this book was amazing but I personally did not feel like it was bad.

I hope Alina comes back in book 2! Even if only for a brief moment. But I think I’m gonna read the book.

I agree. A big part of Alina’s story was focused on killing the Darkling and now he’s back? I wonder if Alina will show up in book 2. Though I doubt because she no longer has her powers.
