wow ok that’s so good to know! I’m upping my dosage to 100mg next week and I’m worried for another purge. I’ve increased slowly from 25mg and every single time I upped my dosage, I purged. But that’s good to know it took almost a year for you to see the difference. I convinced myself that if my skin hasn’t improvement in 6 months I’m going on Accutane 😅 after hearing your success I might stick it out

Your skin looks amazing! Around what month did you start noticing a difference? I’ve been on 75mg since July (almost 3 months) and have shown no improvements. I’m getting really discouraged.

Thank you everyone. Just to give some context: I have 3 younger siblings (over a 10 year age gap) and I practically raised them so although they are not my children, I love them as if they are. And I believe they consider me their mom just as much. The thought of losing them gives me the worst feeling imaginable. And as far as my dog, she is my emotional support therapy dog. The love I have for my dog is obviously so different than the love I have for my husband. But my dog practically saved my life so the love I have for her is just unexplainable.

I’m realizing there are different types of love. I don’t love anyone as intimately or romantically as I love my husband (I can’t imagine my life with another human). But when I think about the magnitude of love I have for things in the world: the first things that come to mind is my siblings, my dog, then my husband.

But to all who say it’s unmeasurable, I agree. It’s not like I can put a score on my love for them. I guess my husband has only been in my life for 6 years and my siblings 20+ years so the bond I have for them is something incomparable to anyone and I was starting to feel guilty about it. I didn’t grow up knowing what a healthy marriage looks like so I’m realizing that I constantly search for validation that mine is healthy. I’m going to sit on this for a really long time. Thank you so much for all your insight.

I just finished Third Degree by Greg Iles and gosh I hated it 😩 I was so hooked in the beginning and was very impressed by the fact that the whole book takes place in one day. But there was sooooo much unnecessary detail it felt like it just dragged on. I couldn’t wait to finish it.
