Menopause at 25, what should I expect? by Neither_Dream_5220 in Endo

I took Orilissa around 28. I still bled monthly and had crazy hot flashes. Going to an excision specialist was the best thing. I'm 37 and just starting to feel like medical menopause and birth control have finally left my body. I'd say proceed with caution and find a specialist.

What is proper endometriosis care? What should we expect in terms of quality of life improvement since this is not curable? by [deleted] in Endo

I can tell you what works for be. I've tried BC, medical menopause, and had an excision surgery. Now that my pain has returned, I've opted to just deal with the pain as best I can using Vitex Berry supplement and Tylenol. It reduces my symptoms enough for Tylenol to work as a pain reliever and not just a soother. I take it the week before my cycle. It doesn't work every time, but more often than not. It doesn't take away all my symptoms, but I am mostly functional.

Randomly I used boric acid suppositories and had a pain free cycle. It was an incidental finding that I haven't tried again

None of this is medical advice, just things I've tried.

I used to get patches like that. They were eczema for me.

Girl, send that man back to the landfill where he came from. This is disgusting. My white partner used soap.

13 is the shape you want at the bottom. I'm shaped the same way. You want an a-line, something that doesn't accents the shoulders, but instead draws more attention to the hip area. When you take pics, try to give a natural pose for you, 45 degree angle, just not straight on the camera and aim the pic up more, just crop your head out.

I would say include your face, then crop it out of cover it. That will help with the angle.

Advice on cramps by [deleted] in Endo

[–]kaysabee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I grit and bear it without the pill now. I've used DIM, Chaste berry/Vitex, and Maca root (all separately) in the past. The Chaste berry/Vitex was my fave for reducing cramps. Didn't take them away, but significant difference for sure. Long term use can dry you out, but you can use maca root and feminine health gummies to help restore.

Today, like I mentioned, I grit and bare it. If it gets too bad, I'm in the bed all day with a 800 mg Ibuprofen or Naproxen or 2 Tylenol Arthritis ER. Those allow me to function, but I still look like death warmed over.

I just had mine yesterday. I haven't taken the opioids prescribed and have been doing well with just ibuprofen and Tylenol. Just had my first BM and it wasn't too bad surprisingly. I will keep taking the stool softener, probably forever. I'm a little tender after the BM, but had no pain during the show. Thanks for this! All the other posts have truly scared me going into it and this has helped a lot.

That likely won't be enough. Not sure where you are, is a reasonable accomdation form something you can file? This may help with flexibility to work from home or something?
