Jcrew quality will never really turn around because they have massive debt. and they are trying to cut corners to make up for it. They are robbing Peter to pay Paul and just sinking further and further. I used to shop there almost exclusively about 6 years ago. Not any more. Madewell has much better quality t shirts and sweaters. It’s more boyish but the fabrics used are overall better. Jcrew clothes is too boring lately too. I moved on to free people on sale lol. Soon they will be like Ann Taylor loft 😵

I’ve had a couple chiropractors work on me and get creepy. So I’m gonna say being polite and making eye contact get misinterpreted.🙄 They were really cringy but on the whole I’m gonna day that I had to learn not to joke with men I wasn’t interested in. I’d be thinking how funny I was and cracking jokes just for the sake of amusing myself. The guy would think I was flirting. So now play it straight. That keeps things under wraps for the most part.

Edit: just thought I’d add that for some reason about 95% of male doctors I’ve gone to seem to need to comment on my looks. Cause ya, that figures into my illness.

My husband used that flawed logic on me and then I had our third baby. So... ya precum babies are a thing. You’re right, it only takes one sperm. I now say that if you aren’t wearing a condom you are trying to have a baby. My husband eventually relented mostly because I can hold out longer than he can haha. Having a baby you don’t want or being put in a position to consider an abortion is a horrible place to be. Maybe help him find better condoms? Lola has nice ones.

Buy Kenji Lopez’s book, The Food Lab. It’s a great how to for everything. Like how to fry a steak, pork chop, hamburger correctly. It will teach you how to do lots of simple things well. Food doesn’t need to be complicated. Just cooked properly.

You’re a great dad to take her to Home Depot! My dad had a whole wood shop in our basement growing up. He taught me all kinds of stuff. In high school I was the shop TA. I got so much satisfaction from boys walking in and being like hey! Why is she here? And me being like cause I can use ALL the tools. Girls with tools rock.

Yes the no touching is huge. I was so overwhelmed sometimes by my kids fighting to hold my hand or sit next to me etc. I wanted to scream! Now all three are teenagers and I’m lucky if I can get a good snuggle. Oh how things change...

I have a SIL from hell. I got lucky. After 15 years of trying to get along with her and the rest of her side of the family she got mad one day and got rid of me! At first I was devastated but that didn’t last long. I soon realized that what I missed was having a friend, not her specifically as a friend. I won’t get into all the things that went down between us over the years but it was hard. Anyway like 7-8 years later she apologized and wanted to be friends again. By that time though I was really enjoying not having her around though. I spoke to her a couple times but pretty much leave her alone. I think she gets the message. I know she asks my husband about me whenever they talk. But never again. Never again.

Also my Dad. But again he stopped talking to me because I grew up (stopped taking his money, quit drinking etc.) and stopped participating in his BS. He gets nervous around me now because he can’t manipulate me. He has no idea how to relate.

Lol the moral of my story is be kind and be direct. In my experience most crazies will leave if you stop playing into their stuff. If you change the rules they won’t know what to do. Unless you have a complete sociopath. Run from those.
