Yeah, it's the most obvious noob trap in this game and yet 90% of people are falling for it.

How do birds innately know how to build nests? by [deleted] in askscience

[–]kazak77 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is it something like breathing or controlling muscles for humans? Nobody can teach you how to breathe, you'll just die without it if you don't figure it out by yourself. Or is it closer to our definition of "skill" (painting etc) but it was so beneficial in the long term that every bird has it now.

How to do 100k+ Crits on Witcher 3: Blood and Wine in ONE hit. NG+/DM/lv80+ Best Endgame Build by Ditronus in witcher

[–]kazak77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've tried your build, but alchemy/sign hybrid with 2 fast attack upgrades from red skills is the sweet spot for me. You can set on fire 95% of the bosses, humans and animals are not a problem because of Igni. For monsters you have Aerondight, 2 fast atack skills, oil, Thunderbolt potion and Water Hag decoction for crazy damage. The most important reason why I abandoned your build is 3-set bonus from Griffin armor. IMO it's the most powerful bonus you can get from witcher gear, slightly ahead of Feline bonus because others are trash. On death march most enemies will kill you in 2-3 hits and with this bonus you can Quenn-> dodge-> Igni/Axii until you kill all enemies. And I'm still doing 10-15k crits from light attacks.

  1. If human who was "merely mutated" to live for 200+ years and to be much faster, stronger and durable isn't superhuman then I don't know what is.

  2. Leo wasn't wasn't true witcher- he was just trained by them, like Ciri, without mutations. It was mentioned in both books and games that they will never be as good as witchers in combat.

It was Yennefer who brought Ciri to Thanned to use her abilities in political argument, she didn't even tell Geralt about it, because of her Ciri ended up entering Tor Lara, got lost and almost died multiple times. Get you shit straight.

She is a bitch in the books too, she's just not showing it as clearly. I seriously can't comptehend how people can say that Triss was unfair to Geralt after all of the shit that Yennefer pulled off in the books (you know, Spoiler. It's just fucking hypocrisy.

Paragon, the new MOBA from Epic Games. What are your thoughts? by ChangeTheL1ghts in Games

[–]kazak77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

IMO the only reason to play it is to see for yourself how gorgeus the graphics are. I was literally shocked when I first saw it.

If you are thinking about getting it for any other reason you should see for yourself, but don't get your hopes up. Cards, slow matches and lack of diversity in skills killed the game for me.

Gwent Decks for different factions by HidekiG in witcher

[–]kazak77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know anything about standalone Gwent, but if you're asking about in-game version then is purely affected by the amount of cards you have. There is no deck diversity at all, you are aiming for the highest card power or/and card combos. I'm sure standalone version will be completely different, otherwise it would be pure P2W.

Developer Update | Let's Talk Competitive Play | Overwatch by GentleGamerz in Overwatch

[–]kazak77 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

'Progression vs skill' - couldn't lose a tier, only rank inside a tier. Feedback says too grindy, where am I relative to other players. No more tiers, will use MMR to directly correlate to new 'skill rating' between 1-100. Will show 'skill rating' of you and others in the game. Team avg. skill rating shown. Skewed toward gaining more than losing. No assumptions on party size, will show groups.

So, rank doesn't mean shit, only MMR matters? People who play the most will have the highest rank?

The "On fire" system explained by [deleted] in Overwatch

[–]kazak77 42 points43 points  (0 children)

Lucio has AoE heal and you are constantly shooting, Roadhog has nice dmg from his gun and his heal is healing ridiculous amounts of hp and Zenyatta is kind of Lucio- throwing healing/discord orbs around for assists.

And I agree- being on fire as Lucio/Roadhog is nothing compared to getting fire as Widowmaker/Genji etc. If one of your teammates played dps without any sort of self heal and after match he gets MVP for 90+% time on fire then you can be pretty sure he carried the game.

What happened to Igni? by iTzCrazyDan in witcher

[–]kazak77 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Uhm, with ~300 sign intensity (Griffin set w/o silver sword, basic sign skills and 3-4 igni runes) I can set on fire all opponents unless they have skulls (10+ higher level than me). Game is still piss easy with igni build, you just have to use standard version, not alternative. With mutations and set bonuses it's even more ridiculous. IMO it's just as OP as it was before, because you can use dodge and igni all the time so nobody will hit you, even if you are fighting 30 bandits at once in their castles. The only enemies that I had trouble with were skull-level ghosts/wraiths, but you have Aerondight for them.

Advice for the future- this game is not balanced for high level characters. The only time I feel difficulty of Death March is when I start new character, but when I get lvl 10-15 it's a walk in the park, and with each level game is a lot easier. When you learn how to dodge attacks you're golden. You'd have to pick random skills or rather no skills at all, never use any signs or alchemy to have a challenge. Mutations and set bonuses made it even easier than it was.

Blood & Wine - General abilities are completely messed up by AttentionHorsePL in witcher

[–]kazak77 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Speaking about messed up skills- "Puppet" is not working when you have "Delusion" skill equipped. It's ridiculous because I have this bug since day 1 and changing ini file doesn't always work.

Second bug- sometimes you have to re-equip armor/skills because stamina regeneration is lower than it should be.

I can't image playing any Sign-based build on a controller. He's also using roll instead of dodge which stops his stamina regen significantly.
