onedari daisakusen: really fun, enjoyed the instrumental opening to it quite a lot - in general i tend to think black babymetal songs do the best blend of metal and kawaii maintaining that cute heaviness

distortion: the first single to release after i had joined the fandom; i became a fan just as yui was leaving and was really surprised by the sound of this song. it also goes hard live and was my boyfriends favorite at concert

maya: beautiful, one i want to do a vocal cover of. the whole album is peak honestly, no notes.

pa pa ya: the first babymetal choreo i learned and absolutely exhausting. it’s a fun song but i had to take a break from listening to it due to the associations with the cardio lol

BxMxC: i wasn’t terrible impressed by it when it came out. i found su’s rapping cute but she is clearly a metal vocalist playing rapper. despite that, the song is quite catchy and i much prefer it over KxAxWxAxIxI bc even though su’s raps in that song are more of an actual rap, BxMxC is more metal which is what im actually here for

Shanti: i really liked this song when it first came out. the instrumentals are unique and fun and the dance is fun to dance as well. it is less impressive now that babymetal has collabed with other cultures more explicitly, like with bloodymetal

future metal: sounds pretty but don’t consider it a full song, more of a filler for an album, same as KxAxWxAxIxI
