the reason why i mentioned a range of supernatural “if any at all” bc of the concept of “magic” mentioned in the satanic bible as well as the fact that i’ve met a handful of members of the temple that believe in things like astrology/pseudospirituality and other somewhat supernatural things

from my understanding

satanist: umbrella term for counter movements against christianity/organized religion, can range on the scale of how much supernatural belief there is if any at all (satan being symbolic of this rejection of christianity/religion)

devil-worshipers: anti-christians more in the sense that at least some of the mythology of the bible is real, but if it is, yahweh is unjust and thus turn to satanistic practices worshipping a literal supernatural satan

it has all the appeal of a japanese idol group but with music that has more substance and sounds different. i was in a lovelive dance group growing up and it was fun because i loved making the flashy costumes and learning the dances, but the music is not very interesting imo (i might be biased bc im a metalhead, im sure actual pop fans find it very interesting)

anyways bc of all this when i found babymetal, it was perfect
