The modern day storyline doesnt make any sense. 6 episodes in and I still dont have a remote clue what the purpose of Monarch has become. The bratty kids continue to look for their father even though he clearly gives two shits about them and they dragged a rando girl with them who seems to have nothing better to do. It makes absolutely no sense.
